I didnt see a post about the topic of who is the primary backup for the Eagles and who would be the starter if Westbrook went down. Since Westbrook has gotten hurt alot over the years who is his handcuff Buckhalter or Moats?

Buckhalter

put me in the minority camp that thinks Moats would ultimately benefit more. but westy aint missing time this year bro. top 3 RB. lock it up

Cbuck is the backup and he's by far the superior back. Expect him to get the bulk of the carries with Moats and the other bums getting carries here and there.

This is pretty much what Reid has said ever since Buck won the job.

Talk of the others having any significant impact is merely wishful thinking on the part of those who grabbed the wrong guy on draft day.

 Says the guy with 'Cbuck' on his roster. I have Buckhalter on my roster, but I'm certain that if Westbrook is out, Moats is going to see a decent amount of work.

Yep. And if I want moats or the other bum, I can have em. Not interested. I already know who the backup is. No sense wasting moves or time with guys who will be having about as much impact as Buck is right now.

Personally, I agree with you, that if Westbrook were to go down Buckhalter would get the bulk of the work. But, what I've read, not just here, is that it would be 2 guys (Buckhalter and Moats) that would split the workload. At any rate, Buckhalter is the one to have. Whether it's 60% or 90%, he's going to get more touches than Moats.

Well, I go by what the coach says. Never heard him say anything about a split between moats and buck.If moats was any good, he'd have won the backup job. He was beaten out by a guy who has been injured for what? 2 years? Shows you how much the organization thinks Buck. He's good enough to carry the load with Westbrook out and that's exactly what he'll be doing if/when it comes to that.
