What an ugly Super Bowl (1 Viewer)

Still the 10th most watched program of all time. Behind all the other super bowls from 2010 to 2017 and MASH.

because if you are a football fan, which I'm assuming you are since you are participating in this thread, you enjoy the sport. The SB is the end game for the season so regardless of what two teams are playing, fans will watch.  No?
:goodposting: and most of the time it shows 2 of the best teams in the leagues playing. higher level of play should be fun for any football fan.

It could be, but I'm not so sure. I just don't think the younger generation is in to football like we used to be. They aren't interested in three hours of mind numbing replays and constant commercial interruptions. Yet alone Thursday games, three games on Sunday, etc. And as less and less kids play football due to the recent attention of cranial injuries, I see that drop-off in interest continuing to manifest itself. I may be completely wrong, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a steady year-over-year drop-off in viewership as the true fans simply age out of the demographic. Not that I am rooting for it or anything. It just seems to me to be the way things are heading.
It's definitely on the decline, Cuban called it a couple years ago. But it's still King and will be for a long time to come.

Oh, without a doubt. I heard a report that every single franchise is now valued at a minimum of $1B. Still a cash cow for sure.
