He was just traded in a 12 team dynasty, PPR, straight up for M Wallace. I was amazed someone gave up Wallace for him at this point.

Lol that is brutal. Bush could outproduce him short term I guess but will Bush be in your starting lineup in the fantasy playoffs? Of course you have to get there with Johnson too but you maybe happy the trade wasn't accepted.

PPR redraft, 12 teams w/20 roster spots
CJ owner is actually 2-0. He is deep at RB(CJ Spiller, Alfred Morris, Peyton Hillis), but he has Aaron Hernandez and with the deep rosters there aren't many TEs available on waivers.

I just wanted Bush while Forte is out... may as well get a handcuff while others are still delusional that CJ will actually do something this year. But no one in my league is buying - I just get a LOL-decline.

Traded him for Andre Johnson today in my dynasty PPR league. My receivers are now Nicks, Fitz, AJ and Kenny Britt - (start two). Just couldn't pass on the value, and losing the headache of continuing to start him is a bonus.

I have played with the guy for 5 years, and he has made some decent deals in the past and typically has a good eye for value. He posted A Johnson on the trade block last night and I thought he may be down on him after last week's game. Apparently that plus the perception that he is aging and injury prone played in my favour...It's a fourteen team league, so getting studs is always crucial, from my point of view - whatever the position. I will sleep well tonight knowing I no longer have to deal with CJ.

Once I read this thread I instantly thought of this guy in my league. He's really annoying and stubborn when it comes to trades. I decided to text him and said "Ryan Mathews for Chris Johnson and something small." He instantly said no. Honestly how can you be so stubborn at this point. /rant

Because one guy already got him for Donald Brown.Personally, I don't think I'd trade him at his current value. I have him in one dynasty league, but his value is so far in the tank, I'd rather just ride him out on upside, hoping and praying that he gets me enough production to either bump his value or be a decent flex player. I'm certainly in the market to pick him up if I can give up reserves.

This is one of the big reasons I didn't draft him. HOU, @MIN, PIT, @BUF (thought this was gonna be worse than it is), CHI, @MIA (worse than I thought it was gonna be). NYJ in Wk 15 scares me.Normally I wouldn't be so influenced by schedule but Johnson is clearly a matchup play going forward.

non ppr, it's hard to say. Obviousely Amendola won't always have weeks like this past one. Pettis coming back this week could cut into his protection too. Pettis and Bradford were connecting a lot in preseason as his underneath guy.

Well I had the depth to do it or I wouldn't have made the offer, I just think I inherited an unnecessary headache. My problem with Amendola is akin to what you saw happen to Cruz last night. He's a great talent, one of my favorite players, but there's no one to take attention away from him. WAS focused in on him and essentially shut him out in the second half last week. Gibson has been performing well but he's hardly good enough warrant extra coverage. There's not enough play makers on the receiving end of the ball. Enough justifying, this should be interesting.

Holy crap. I'd never considered trying to trade for him, but I didn't realize he was being given away.
The guy's had 2 of the most miserable weeks one could imagine and he's still RB36 in PPR.

I would not be trying to trade C. Johnson after that stinker he had last week. He plays Detroit this weekend . . . on his 27th Birthday. Perhaps he will celebrate his birthday by pulling out a strong game. I expect it to be a sight better than last week, at the very least. If you are going to move him, at least wait for a glimpse of his old form and try to capitalize.

My original offer was going to be D. Brown and F. Davis for CJ and Pitta but I scaled it back to just Brown for CJ; it was declined.
