What are the new injury reporting guidelines? (1 Viewer)

Breaking this out from a previous thread. I keep hearing people (some staffers, some members) posting things that someone has to play if they're listed as probable. For example...

If he's probable he has to play according to the new NFL rules. Of course, that doesn't mean he has to get on the field.
Has anyone actually been able to find the rules? They're not in the rulebook as far as I can tell - it's more of an administrative thing, and i can't find anything specific on what was changed. The rules as I understood it are just that they have to report (accurately) whether someone has practiced. That said, if someone practiced and is not injured, the team can still make him inactive come Sun. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a team can make any player inactive for any reason at any time, right?Furthermore, in the past, "probable" meant a player has a 75% chance of playing - or, put another way, 25% chance that he wouldn't. So I'm not sure how someone would "have" to have someone listed as probable on their active roster. Can anyone help clarify this for me (and the rest of the pool)?
