What are you doing with all the money you are saving on gas? (1 Viewer)

i've driven a prius since 2008. with the money i've saved, i've purchased a small island in the south pacific. i'm building a lair.

Mailing threatening letters to the salesman who told me how quickly I'd recover the extra money I spent on this hybrid. I should have waited on the Iron Sheik version.

Retiring early
This.

I estimate that even as little as i drive, that the savings i've gotten from gas will subtract as much as a full day from my expected retirement date.

That's one more day in paradise.. thanks Obama

I always laugh when I pull up to the pump and see that the last schmuck spent $80+ to most likely fill up his gas guzzling tough guy SUV. I roll away after spending $18 filling my tank and it lasts 3 weeks.

$18 of electricity gets me ~750 miles in my Leaf. I laugh at you in your tough-guy Prius.

With my Winn Dixie fuel perks I'm filling up for under $2.00 a gallon. I'm at like 19-20 to fill up my Prius.

Taking long drives along the countryside, music playing, wind in my hair, Jenna Haze artificial rubber ##### wrapped securely around my crank.

from MMA to a hipster hat and a Leaf. WTF happened?
I'm complicated. And, either you or me doesn't know what a hipster hat is.

Also, my left hook is still fully functional so watch your tone.

Prius drivers are the worst. Just terrible on every highway and biway in this country. :X

Get out of the ####### way hippie!!!!!!!!

LOVE it. I bought a 2008 Infiniti G37s coupe a few years ago. I figured I'd get the Leaf to tool around in, back and forth to work, and keep the Infiniti for the weekends and fun. 6 weeks into Leaf driving, I'm leaning strongly towards selling the Infiniti now.

Factor in the cost of an upgraded charging station for your house ($500-800 hardware, $200-300 for an electrician unless you can do it yourself). Using only the level1 charger (the one that comes with it) makes it a bit more challenging.

I'm one of the rare ones that drives aggressive. I have driven trucks/SUVS until I started having a long commute. I'm married, and can really care less about what I drive anyways. I'm not looking to impress anyone with my whip. If anything I just want to blend in.

 my bike cost less and you can stay behind new on the county road.
It take a lot more than 18 bucks worth of fuel to make the engine that is you ride 750 miles. Unless you're just eating rice.
