I guess folks will be looking to see how the Indy LB situation and Jerrell Freeman shake out.

Cleveland and Philly play each other next week and again in regular season week 1 so they might use this week as their dress rehearsal.

Never mind - might be tough to find out anything about Cleveland's defense tonight

Adam Caplan ‏@caplannflFive defensive starters (both DTs, SLB, DE, WLB) and nickel CB expected to be out tonight for the Browns vs. Packers.
Bengals are also sitting a bunch of folks
Joe Reedy ‏@joereedy#bengals scratches Ghee, Jones, Allen, Kirkpatrick, Scott, Prater, Green-Ellis, Dye, Maualuga, Whalen, Geathers, Dunlap, Sims Joe Reedy ‏@joereedySo for those of you scoring at home, that leaves six CBs in uniform for #bengals -- Hall, Clements, Newman, Heath, Lewis-Harris, Roger

Looks like we might get a brief glimpse at Alualu's rehabbed knee.

The Jaguars are expected to be without several players Friday, including cornerback Derek Cox (hamstring), defensive end Austen Lane (foot), linebacker Daryl Smith (groin) and fullback Brock Bolen (knee). Defensive tackle Tyson Alualu could play about 8-to-10 plays Friday, and Mularkey was less certain about the status of cornerback Rashean Mathis. Both Alualu and Mathis have practiced in training camp, but were held out of the first preseason game as they gain strength while returning from knee surgeries.

I saw D.J. Smith showing that he'll be a great option for the injured Desmond Bishop. The guy was all over the field and involved in most plays. I think he finished off the first quarter with 4 tackles and 2 assists with a near sack, or something close to that.

Atkins and Peko couldn't be blocked last night for the Bengals.

Taylor Mays looks even more wreckless out there than before if that's possible. He detroyed the ATL fullback several yards into the backfield to blow one play up. A little later he took out Burfict with a crushing blow to his own teammate that was an unneccesary shot even if it landed. I'm a little concerned as a fan, but he could end up in the mold of TJ Ward for fantasy purposes.

Ray Edwards played like he wants to bounce back.... in on a lot of plays.

Curtis Lofton very active for Saints in first half - still looked like a tackle machine.

Andre Branch very nice game at DE for Jags. He and Mincey were able to get some pressures against Brees. Branch also had a pursuit tackle on a screen.
