It's kind of funny to listen to Bill on XM Radio. He loves to go on and on about his days in the "bigs," but my god that was one pathetic career. The way less talented sibling.Ozzie CansecoChris GwynnMike GlavineTim DrewTommy AaronVince DiMaggioRamon MartinezJeremy GiambiPaul ReuschelDon ReynoldsBill Ripken's
Martinez and DiMaggio don't really belong on this list. They had careers better than 90% of major leaguers. The way less talented sibling.Ozzie CansecoChris GwynnMike GlavineTim DrewTommy AaronVince DiMaggioRamon MartinezJeremy GiambiPaul ReuschelDon ReynoldsBill Ripken's

Speaking of this- what's the deal with Sirius and the MLB? Are they ever going to get XM's baseball stuff? The Ghost of Common said:I couldn't agree more.I will say this, you'd expect the production level of an XM Radio baseball network to be pretty crappy but all the shows are pretty good. Billy Ripken is tough to listen to talking like he was a world beater in his days in the bigs.Rob Dibble is the man though - I really enjoy him. Been on air a few times talking with him.Buck Martinez argued with me once about Manny - literally hung up on me and chewed out my opinion for a good 5 minutes. Another one that bugs me is Kevin Kennedy. Won't shut the hell up about his days as manager of the Rangers. Oddly enough, his time with Boston was much more productive, but you almost never hear about it.My favorite. Started a thread about this a while back and it went nowhere.I miss the shtick of bullpen pitchers being carted in
Dear Nomar, You stole my shtick.Sincerely, Mike HargroveThat's annoyed me for years. Does he really need to reset the batting gloves after every pitch? Thanks for helping to ruin the game, Roman.Nomar's ridiculous routine in-between every single ####### pitch.
Totally agree, it's ridiculous.I'll probably get labeled a Commie ******* for this, but the "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch at Yankee stadium...gets me every time.
Lack of a recent Yankees title as proof of competitive balance.

And right at the end, comes one pretty close to mine, which I thought would have been covered.Managers wearing players' uniforms. I mean, are you ####### kidding me??Dusty Bakers' wristbands.

There's a foul pop into the stands...and it's caught by a gentleman from Ann Arbor.

That would be a blast, but just too far...More good schtick ---> Umpires having to be big and/or fat.Me and Dr. Detroit hope to ride down to Houston for a game later this season. Never understood this. There's been times where guys are nowhere near the bag yet get credit for the force. Also amusing: being able to blatantly crash into someone preventing a double play, or to dislodge the ball at home. Related to the latter, I don't think a catcher should be able to block the plate. It's ridiculous. The, you don't "really" need to touch 2nd base while turning a double play........UNTIL YOU GET CAUGHT NOT TOUCHING 2nd BASE WHILE TURNING A DOUBLE PLAY!
THis reminded me. Nothing worse than "STAY FAIR, STAY FARI".The White Sox TV crew. I find them amusing, but then again I don't watch too many White Sox games.
