It's kind of funny to listen to Bill on XM Radio. He loves to go on and on about his days in the "bigs," but my god that was one pathetic career.
I couldn't agree more.I will say this, you'd expect the production level of an XM Radio baseball network to be pretty crappy but all the shows are pretty good. Billy Ripken is tough to listen to talking like he was a world beater in his days in the bigs.Rob Dibble is the man though - I really enjoy him. Been on air a few times talking with him.Buck Martinez argued with me once about Manny - literally hung up on me and chewed out my opinion for a good 5 minutes. That f'r
Speaking of this- what's the deal with Sirius and the MLB? Are they ever going to get XM's baseball stuff?

:goodposting:Another one that bugs me is Kevin Kennedy. Won't shut the hell up about his days as manager of the Rangers. Oddly enough, his time with Boston was much more productive, but you almost never hear about it.

The NY Post smashing the Yankees on the back page.

After Sabathia's rough first start: MONEY FOR NOTHING

From yesterdays' 254-3 game: STINKEES

The, you don't "really" need to touch 2nd base while turning a double play........UNTIL YOU GET CAUGHT NOT TOUCHING 2nd BASE WHILE TURNING A DOUBLE PLAY!

Never understood this. There's been times where guys are nowhere near the bag yet get credit for the force. Also amusing: being able to blatantly crash into someone preventing a double play, or to dislodge the ball at home. Related to the latter, I don't think a catcher should be able to block the plate. It's ridiculous.

I like the wackiness of the minor's.

Our team has take your dog to the ball park night and you can watch the game from a hot tub.

I also love the WOOOOP.....WOOOOOO's during the warm up pitches

Grinder Rules

edit: the "Ozzie" rules comment was really for Power Monster
