What are your favorite movie scenes? (2 Viewers)

Opening scene in the Bourne Ultimatum.

Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross - "#### YOU...that's my name" is my favorite line ever.

Haven't we done this before?

Nina's dance in My Life to Live

Spa scene in 8 1/2

400 Blows/Manhattan The long-tracking running shot in both (one reference the other, of course)

Dave flying into Jupiter in 2001

Chance walking to the pond at the end of Being There

First park scene in Blow-Up

Nighttime twin interlude in Persona

Chase scene in Blues Brothers

I'm sure I can come up with a lot more.

I am sure that we have done some of these in our various drafts, but thought it would fun to have them all in one thread. Whatever you want to list - hardest to shoot, means the most to you, etc.. Try to post links when possible.

Was thinking about mine a little last night. I was watching Boogie Nights yet again. Love so much about that movie, but can't get enough of the scene with Molina and firecrackers and just all out craziness.

Boogie Nights Sister Christian

Boogie Nights Jessie's Girl

OBVIOUSLY NSFW, as I am sure a lot of these will end up being.

The only downfall to Boogie Nights for me? Having "You Got the Touch" stuck in my head for a couple days after watching.
Feel, feel feel feel feel.......feel my heat!

Star Wars episode 3 final lightsaber duel between Anakin and Obi Wan

"You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them, bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness."

That one movie scene where melissa mccarthy farts and craps and vomits all over the place. it was so hilarious.

Opening scene of Saving Private Ryan (totally intense and insane)

Last scene on the beach in The Shawshank Redemption (cry every single time)

The entire chase sequence in Cairo in Raiders of the Lost Ark leading all the way till the plane fight scene. Plus the chase scene follwoing that where Indy pulls himself up onto the Nazi truck transporting the Ark.

The Death Star attack sequence in Star Wars Episode IV

Alec Baldwins coffee is for closers scene to open Glengary Glenross

Gladiators opening battle scene

The end of The Ring when the girl climbs out of the TV.....first time I saw that I was terrified in total horror.

The horse in Dean Warmers office in Animal House....among many in that film.

When Will Farrell takes a dart to his neck in Old School and what ensues after. No matter how many times I have seen that scene....I cry in pain from the laughter of that physical comedy...pure genius.

Those are some right off the top of my head. I can think of plenty more.

also...

damn. it appears somebody has blocked all the Raising Arizona clips at Youtube. pretty much every scene from that works for me.

The Big Lebowski had many. First two that come to mind are- The What Have Ya theater scene and the "Is this your homework, Larry?" scene.

Bunch of scenes from Kill Bill... The Buck scene with Uma on the floor, the cartoon, the lucy liu fight, the gogo scene

Also Ill never forget when that T Rex first came out in Jurassic Park. "Must go faster"

Man you guys suck at providing links.
I'm driving now so I cant link but I always love the favorite Jesus, saying Grace scene in Talladega Nights. I also love the try not to suck any ***** in the parking lot scene in Clerks. The train/card game scene in the Sting was pretty great. The new Oceans Eleven had some really good ones too.

Sorry for those wanting links and movie titles:

The Usual Suspects, Lineup & Interrogation
Nice. I thought I just read recently that this scene was also just about all improv. They had the line and just said it however they wanted. Also they kept cracking up b/c Del Toro kept dropping ###.
Sort of, yeah. They were on a really tight budget and shooting schedule, with all the actors working for less than their usual fee, and Chazz Palmintieri only available for a week to shoot his scenes. Under that sort of pressure, Singer yelled at the five of them when they wouldn't deliver the dialogue at the lineup without cracking up, but Del Toro and Baldwin were just so funny that the others couldn't help breaking up every time. Eventually Singer gave up and decided to use what he thought was the best take. So, somewhat unintended brilliance, a highly realistic result showing the felons' contempt for the cops, and a good story behind it. :)

The lobby scene in The Matrix.

Chainsaw scene in Scarface. (Pacino version)

Feel-a-Round scene in The Kentucky Fried Movie
