This is a good idea. I really would like to watch Kornacki but Maddow makes me want to shot myself.Might be a good night to check out Shepard Smith anchoring CNBC coverage. As an NBC station, might even get some Kornacki.

The other option is just watch regular NBC. I looked at the CNBC release after I posted and they don't mention Kornacki, which doesn't mean he won't do spots. This is a good idea. I really would like to watch Kornacki but Maddow makes me want to shot myself.
Please don't circumvent the language filter. This is a good idea. I really would like to watch Kornacki but Maddow makes me want to shot myself.
Welch's on the menu?Hosting a watch party in discord imo. There will be Among Us going on between the tops of each hour, as anything from x:15 to x:59 basically garbage.
I believe ABC owns Five Thirty Eight.Silver's on contract w/ABC? Thanks, I'll add them to my rotation too.
The "meltdown" is just another part of the show. Career-wise, the outlook is much better for the talking heads on the losing side. Surely, FOX and OAN employees will be absolutely thrilled with a Democrat sweep of the executive and congress. Their viewers will be so energized. Meanwhile, a Trump win will provide another 4 years of relevance for people like Maddow. This mindset of wanting to watch the other side melt down is a contributor to why things are not good now in politics - and I'm guilty of it too.
This, in a nutshell, is why we really shouldn't listen to any of those people. The are entertainers, looking to make a buck off of us. But people listen to them like they are political geniuses and take everything they say as gospel. It's weird and disturbing. The "meltdown" is just another part of the show. I've actually had Shep on a lot since his show started. It's been great having someone just give the facts as facts. And I was first introduced to Kornacki from it. He makes nightly appearances so I'm guessing he will have plenty of air time on cnbc throughout election night. The other option is just watch regular NBC. Maybe I'll flip around. There are a lot of people on this I don't want to hear from. I've been off CNN/MSNBC since Aug and would like to keep it that way.

It's actually pretty fun watching all the maps broken down by county, % reporting, all the alerts that come in, etc. A lot like watching sports. Doubly fun with betting involved and now predictit has offered a new fun way to gamble on it.Maurile Tremblay said:It's hard for me to imagine watching TV on election night. If I do, it will probably be HBO or something.
Why would they do that...they didn't in 2016 either. This notion that everyone is just out calling the right racist nonstop is so far from true its nuts.If Trump is looking good, definitely CNN to watch the panel call voters racists all night.
Good to know, thanks.I've actually had Shep on a lot since his show started. It's been great having someone just give the facts as facts. And I was first introduced to Kornacki from it. He makes nightly appearances so I'm guessing he will have plenty of air time on cnbc throughout election night.
Not to those who've experienced it first hand. Although this year it's been much more "white supremacist" than "racist". At first it was a little amusing. But after a while it's just all so absurd and exhausting. This notion that everyone is just out calling the right racist nonstop is so far from true its nuts.
Honestly, I've always liked the election coverage from CNN. Always felt they had the best interactive map thingymagig. Not joking. I've watched every Presidential election since 2000 on CNN.sho nuff said:Curious where everyone will be getting their updates.
I typically surf a bit of the networks to see who is less annoying and then pick one. Avoiding CNN and FoxNews.

Yep. Reporting the news gave way to pushing their own narrative 30 years ago. This, in a nutshell, is why we really shouldn't listen to any of those people. If they put 20 people up on stage it will be unwatchable. Do they still do that?Honestly, I've always liked the election coverage from CNN. Always felt they had the best interactive map thingymagig. Not joking. I've watched every Presidential election since 2000 on CNN.
Yea man for sure. That was a lot of laughs....until it wasn’t.Have decided to watch with a couple drinks. Sober will not work, obviously, though drunk will be too much.
And with that, there is only one way to enjoy the festivities. So, @Capella..... you will be firing up an election day thread, correct? We have a high bar to reach from the 2016 one. Hint hint.
Yeah drinks are in order. Cracking open a bottle of Salted Caramel Crown to sip on.Have decided to watch with a couple drinks. Sober will not work, obviously, though drunk will be too much.

Going to give CNBC a shot. They seem to give to an unbiased approach.Have decided to watch with a couple drinks. Sober will not work, obviously, though drunk will be too much.

I’ve always watched on cnn. Will start with them this time, but cnn in 2020 is a shadow of what they were in 2016. Will be looking for the most professional and balanced coverage that I can find.Honestly, I've always liked the election coverage from CNN. Always felt they had the best interactive map thingymagig.
