I disagree and think Romeo needs to take the Carson Palmer route with Quinn and hold a clipboard for a year.Let Anderson and Frye get hammered to a pulp this year.Next year get Michael Turner and start fresh with Quinn.

I was definitely in the boat of thinking Moss was no longer an elite WR. I even applied an analogy on ESPN boards to explain the relationship between the Pats and Moss: Pats = Rome, Moss = Visigoths. Definitely wrong there as well.Pats fans have definitely earned the right to gloat.Still a bit giddy but,I learned that all the analysts both professional and amateur had some really interesting, great-sounding arguments stating that Moss lost a step, was a shadow of his former self, etc, etc :whoosh:

Fortunately for him, he's so talented that even his shadow, when placed in a perfect environment like he's now in, can produce.Spending a 4th rounder to acquire him looks like a steal for now. I'm not as worried about his skills as I am the situation. Brady is a great QB. One of the reasons he is so great is he spreads the ball around a lot which does not bode well for fantasy #'s. The antithesis to this is Brady has never had someone like Moss to throw to. Maybe he hones in on one WR more than he has done in the past. I believe that even Tom Brady, as much as he likes to break down a defense and pick them apart by throwing to the open receiver, can get sucked in by the long ball. There's nothing like the long bomb and there's never been anyone like Moss when it comes to catching it. So, you put one of the best arms in the league together with the best deep threat the game has ever had and you get explosiveness. I have to admit that I needed to see Moss gain the separation like he used to in order to beleive he still had it. But, his TD yesterday was nothing short of vintage Moss pulling away from everyone like they were standing still. He once again has a guy that can out-throw him in Brady, so the sky is the limit. Could be some homer testosterone carrying over here, but I liked what I saw. The only sad thing, as I said to my friends during the game is that anything short of a superbowl will be a complete failure.
