What do you expect from D. Ward this week (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure what to make of D. Ward for this week...I have a lot of question marks for him.

1. Will he carry the load, or will it be RBBC with Droughns? What do you expect the split to be?

2. Can he produce against a tough GB def?

3. If Eli sits out, will GB stack the line and make the running game worthless?

4. What kind of numbers do you think he'll have this week?

5. Is he worth starting over other mid tier guys like Deuce, A. Green, Foster, etc?

I made no effort to land Ward in any of my leagues. Partly because I already had good RB depth, and partly because I don't expect much out of him this week, or going forward.

1. I'd expect he'll get 2/3 of the carries, such as they are.

2. No, I don't think this will lend much in the way of production.

3. Yes, I think that is exactly what will happen.

4. 10 Carries for 35 yards, 2 catches for 15. No touches. (Of course this is total guesswork, but that is about what I expect.)

5. Absolutely not.

I have to start Ward because I own Jacobs and I'm think at RB as it is. With a tough GB defense and Lorenzen at QB, though, I'm expecting not much of anything.

i took him for depth after missing out on c. brown. but i doubt i will play him, for the many reasons you list. if i had green, i know i'd play him before ward.

read the article i linked in the eli could be out a month thread. the author thinks the running game should be okay.

With Eli out, I am guessing that GB will make every attempt to keep NYG's running game at bay. If Eli was not injured, I would have some faith in Ward's potential but with the situation the way it is, any Giant's RB would be a risky start this week.
