What do you expect from Fred Taylor this year? (1 Viewer)

I look for F.Taylor to end up the season (in a solid offense) runnning for 1,050 yds and 7 td's. I don't think Drew really cuts into his #'s this year.

Any thoughts?

Unless he's scoring them all from 5 yds and out, I would have to agree. Guy just cant seem to get it done around the stripe and will be spelled.I wouldnt want to depend on him. He's great as a 3 or 4 if you stockpiled.

i really like fragile this year. ill admit, i wasnt too keen on him until the jones injury, but i think if the j'ville defense plays tough, that FT could be the beneficairy of a conservative jack del rio in the second half of games.

heck even if he does blow most of the time, he still gets the texans in weeks 7/10 and tennesee in 9/15. those games alone make him worth a solid #3 for me. and if he DOES overachieve, then i got a steal on a starting RB for what should be a successful ball-control offense.

I like F. Taylor to produce #2 rb numbers this year.

Thats a toss up, in my view... but I'm leaning toward Fragile Freddy since he has less challenging him for touches and I believe his upside is bigger.

IF he stays healthy he should have 1200+ yards,and thats the low side. I dont see more than 5 total td's though. An OK #2 in my book

I can see him rushing for 1100-1200 this year with 5-8 total TD's....i do think he'll get some of his goal-line touches,..whether he gets most of them in or not,..will be seen...but he's been healthy,..and we all know what he can do when he's healthy.

I don't get the bad rap Freddie gets about injury. Everyone alway thinks he's injured but he's been a pretty steady performer for a while. What he means:

Despite all the 10 foot tall, glowing neon, flashing red warnings from my FBG brethren, I somehow ended up with Fragile Fred in the 3rd round. He'll have to suffice as my RB2 since I drafted a QB/WR in the 2nd round. Someone please tell me that Jacksonville will average at least 10 points per game and that Fred won't pull his, or anyone else's, groin this year.
