What does this driving gesture mean? (1 Viewer)

It usually means "go around".

There's a good chance that the guy is from the U.K. or Ireland or somewhere where they drive on the wrong side of the road, so he thinks he's in the slow lane and is being polite by telling you that this is as fast as he intends to go while in this country, but you're welcome to pass him on the right, as they do in his country of origin.

Also, he wants to have sex with you and is inviting you to a rest stop.

Why are you even looking at the other drivers?
When someone is doing something stupid ~95% of the time I look and see them on the cell phone. So it's my own personal survey to glance at the other driver when they're being stupid. For whatever reason that habit keeps me from getting angry. And no road rage is a good thing for me and others on the road.

Do you mean if the person looks like an idiot rather than a jerk its easier to let it go?

my brother told me once that it was a gesture that you do when you are going to go through a yellow light. but i would also guess it might mean go around.
