around our neighborhood it started Friday night and has continued throughout the weekend...With the 4th falling on a Monday, and most people having to work Tuesday, having fireworks going off after 11pm gets some people
..Normally we would have fired ours off last night.... but my daughters Boyfriend is a manager at a Fireworks Company and gets the best deals/take home gifts tonight when he finishes working ...
So we will be THAT neighbor tonight

We shot our load last night. The neighbors on either side of me and two across the street were firing off theirs as well. We will go to a professional display tonight.

Because we will be at the city's professional display tonight and won't get home until late. I have plenty of explosives still left to use throughout the day today, but anything that lit up was shot up last night.

No clue... A bunch of us just chip in, we did it right though, last year we had like a 30 minute show, this year were aiming for an hour. Got one of these too:

Set off whatever you want, but have the basic decency to clean up all of the cardboard and plastic when you're done. That includes your neighbors' yards BTW if they're not setting off stuff themselves. Based on a quick look this morning before I left for work, I have about an hour's worth of walking around my yard with a trash bag tonight when I get home due to a few hilljack neighbors. Just awful.

Did our meager supplies by 9:15. I swept the street after. About that time several neighbors were out and starting up. Fireworks went heavy until 11:00 and for some continued on until 2:00. I got up at 4:45, as usual, and went out to pick up the mess those folks left. I spent an hour sweeping the street and picking up in yards (We have a few folks who are getting old and maybe are not as capable as they once where of cleaning up the messes of others. I got a garbage can full of tubes, sticks, and chunks of plastic. Today is garbage pick up day.
