FAIL.
So, the way you'd prefer is that nobody on the boards talk about fantasy football at all.
I followed a few of those links. None seemed AC at all to me.
Exactly.
I thought this was a fantasy football board. Way too nit-picky. I'm new to the SP this season but not new to FFL so I thought I was starting a thread which I felt was discussion worthy. I've used the AC forum before so I know when to take a question there. This has definitely made me feel gun shy about starting any new threads because I don't want a bunch of people jumping down my throat saying "AC! AC! AC!!" Not the nicest welcome in the world.
Look it's not hard. You can phrase your questions in a general way to benefit the Pool. If you want insight phrase your question to benefit all owners of said player. If you want more particular advice about a specific situation on your team take it to the AC forum.
DO THIS: "Mike Wallace /Hines Ward owners are you considering benching them this week because of Big Bens foot injury?"
DON't DO THIS: "Who do you like better for week 13 Mike Wallace vs. or Johnny Knox?"
In question 2 you alienate anyone that doesn't have both players and makes this thread almost useless for owners who only have one of these players because the situation is too narrow and too focused on your particular fantasy team.
It's just some common courtesy to everyone else. It's Shark Pool etiquette. It's not like there isn't a place for both types of questions. People are just trying to protect the integrity of the SP as the best FF forum on the interwebs.
