He used to be one of my favorite ESPN analysts, but he has really gone downhill in the last year or two. He is an apologist for every QB in the NFL, and he is as big a homer to the Eagles and Irvin is to the Cowboys. It is starting to get really annoying.

I've gone back and examined the film and here's what I saw :toilet: He's been infected with the ESPN virus. It is a virus that sucks all of the talent out of you until you become someone who can only utter phrases like Boomer

I agree. The last year or two, he's changed a lot while on the set. In his defense, he does seem a bit more animated, but it's just annoying to me...

ESPN is the boss and the employees do what the boss says. Jaws still does a great job, but if you want quality information you'll have to watch him on the NFL match-up show...not on countdown, etc.

Berman is such a 9er's homer you would've thought he actually played for them.

He's downright belligerent anymore. I can't take it. Sit down and shut the hell up, Jaws! Every veteran QB, no matter how putrid, is better than every young talented QB. Hey Jaws, you played for the Eagles. We get it. Please move on.How freakin' sad is it that Ditka is now the voice of reason on that set? God, they're awful.

He was the BEST analyst of any football game I watched during the MNF double header in week 1. He, Nessler (?) and Vermeil did the Chargers game and Jaws broke down plays so well and fast I was in heaven. Telling us why a FB's first step opened up the middle for a pump fake that got the safety to bite etc... I would pay to have Jaws on MNF, or any game for that matter. When he's on a dip#### show teamed with loudmouthed crackheads, he'll sound a little less intelligent.

:goodposting: I'm sure he gets every week some idiot producer telling him we need arguements, and he is isn't quite the natural at forcing it that some of the other talking heads are, Like Salisbury, for example. That is the only talent Salisbury has, since absolutely sucks at having intelligent analysis.
