With all these guys wanting to trade a player who still has some stock or drop someone who has gotten off to a slow start, I know there are some gems out there.
What's the best player you've seen or picked up, that had been dropped by another owner? Trades, too.
Picked up RB Portis for WR Cotchery on a team where I had zero RB power from an IR holdover (local league rule that caught me while I was in Iraq, rather than cry and moan, I have been aggressively working to build from waivers and trades... for those truly interested this ended up as Caddy Williams being my first round draft pick as a IR hold over).

Holt and Colston both dropped by owners in a couple leagues in a 5 man WR roster (start 2 RB & 3 WR or 1 RB & 4 WR). Panic dropping leads to me waving the likes of Sidney Rice to hold Colston on the bench for a few weeks or to see if Holt and STL can get back in the game. Seems like a fair trade off to me to eat minor flash depth for probable later season steady production.
In 3 of my leagues everyone seems to be skittish this year. I don't get it.
what kind of leagues have Colston and Holt on waivers..seriously? I see posts like these all the time..boggles my mind. Why would anyone want to play in leagues that are so inept...to be the big fish in the small pond?
I WAS in a panic....I owned Ocho and Maroney and traded them 5 minutes before the one o'clocks for Ronnie Brown....and you ready....Boldin.....so far so good, its been one week, but I think Boldin scored more touchdowns yesterday then they will combined all year!!! Oh, and I hope to not panic anymore.
