It used to take 2 years for a torn knee to heal. Then Adrian Peterson happened, and now guys are coming back in half a year.
Gronk tore his ACL and MCL in December and is playing in September. Alabama had a cornerback tear his knee in the spring and he's back 5 months later. I've read some accounts of soccer players that have torn their knees, and again, they are back in half a year.
My question for any doctors out there: Has surgery recently dramatically improved? Is it HGH?
