Jason LaCanfora just said that Rams are fielding offer that have included future first round picks.
It is being discussed on the NFL network.

I agree and honestly, isn't that the standard? I may be overblowing this, but I think we are in a new world with the delay b/t Rounds 1 & 2 and teams have the ability to push the pause button and get real deals done. My guess is that someone is estatic a certain player is out there now and while in the past they may not have had time to culminate the deal, today they do. If I owned pick 30-32 in the first round, I would have gladly traded it for a firm handshake...I really think someone is going to overpay, whether it is pick 1 or 2 in the second round. If I'm an NFL GM and think I have a top 10 team, I'd most certainly trade my 2011 1st rounder for the 2.01 this year.
The clock, I believe is still 10 minutes (could be mistaken), but even if it is one minute, in reality, it is 20 hours considering they had all day to deal...this is why i think something "special" will happen. As far as the pick sheets go, i think they are a nice, quickie analysis of x pick, but when a team has all day to field offers and play them against each other, I would throw it all out the window.I'm sure a majority of the owners and GM's already have those draft value sheets....it's infinitely harder to get a boatload for 2.01 than it is for a 1.01. there's just that one or two GM's or owners who might be dreaming overnight about the 33rd best player in the whole draft.besides, how long is the clock for 2nd round picks?
Seven minutes in Round 2. Five minutes in Rounds 3-7.The clock, I believe is still 10 minutes (could be mistaken), but even if it is one minute, in reality, it is 20 hours considering they had all day to deal...this is why i think something "special" will happen. Thanks. I referenced that in a different thread but didn't catch all of it and thought I heard what you just posted.According to Eisen, Billy Devaney is saying that he doesn't expect to be making that pick.

Eh, if Minn wanted Clausen, they wouldn't have traded down last night. They would have just picked him at 30.If someone trades up for Clausen for a boatload of picks, the Rams should at least thank the Vikings for helping them out. <_<
There is a small chance the Vikings will take him but there is a larger chance the Vikings will trade down to allow some other team to take him. So either way the Vikings may have help the Rams by passing. But I could be assuming too much when I think the target is Clausen. If a team is planning on trading up for the 2.01, who will they take? McCoy or Tate or someone else.Eh, if Minn wanted Clausen, they wouldn't have traded down last night.
