bad question, as people trade all kinda players for a #1 pick, depends on if they rebuilding and wanna trade a vet to a team in the running for more future talent...and sometimes everyone likes to offer a package to get the worst teams 1st rounder so they can land AP.It just depends on the team and the owner direction. Ive seen M.Bell (yup) get traded for a 1st when the HYPE was rollin. I just traded T.Bell for a future 1st and Alex Smith (qb). Traded T.Bell, Cotchery and a 1st in another league for Maroney.Its just depends. Some see players as a flash in the pan...some like future picks, and wanna be in the hunt for Calvin Johnson and AP. Others want right NOW.hope that helps

Care to rephrase the question for me then? I didn't really know how to word it...last week I traded away Lee Evans (I wasn't starting him) for what will likely be the #1 pick next year.

Sure, I guess I was wondering if it was a good deal for me, but I had already done it last week. Just in time for Fitzy to go down as well! I guess I was just surprised the other owner accepted it so quickly, thought maybe I overpaid, guess not.

I would say "#1 2007 rookie pick" is the 25-30th ranked dynasty player - right around guys like Chris Chambers and Chester Taylor.

the #1 and #2 2007 overall picks are going to be huge for next seasons rookie draft.

It will be undoubtly be Peterson and Johnson taken 1 and 2.

I think both of these guys have potential to be great in the NFL.

Currently I am about to be 0-5 in my dynasty league and it looks like I will be getting either the #1 or the #2 unless my team drastically turns around. It would take a lot for someone to pry my future pick away because of the chance to lock up either player for years to come.
