i do not think he is a starting NFL QB
I know a lot of people feel this way.. but he did his DEF running game lead his team to the SuperBowl; you can not knock that.
fixed
:blackdot: refixed broif your going to make points like this... atleast spend a couple of minutes and research it; and if your not going to do that... ATLEAST READ THE OTHER POSTS.

As I pointed out earlier today; the Bears defense was rated the 3rd WORST 370+ YDS ALLOWED during the post-season.

Now you want say that the running game ran him to the SB, that another :bag: .

Stats from Seattle game

R. Grossman 21/38 282 1 1

Both RBs combined for 110 yds and 2 TD

The Run game did run though the Saints.
the DEF bent but did not break till the SB. Holding NO(#1 ranked OFF and 5th ranked scoring OFF in the regular season) to only 14 PTs in the NFC Champ. game means something. They where # 4 in scoring DEF in the playoffs(the most important stat for DEF)

1. Balt 15 PTs

2. Indy 16.2 Pts

3. Dall 21 PTs

4. Chi 22.3 Pts

going into the playoff they where the

# 5 total DEF

#11 pass DEF

#6 rush DEF

#3 scoring DEF

T Jones was the # 2 RB for rushing yards in the playoffs with 301 rushing yards. He was #1 in rush TDs with 4.

But for a guy who has been in the league quite a while now, I think we are seeing the best he is. And, it isn't that great.
First, it hardly needs to be said that while he's been "in the league quite a while now", because of injury he's not had much chance to experience live game action. He's had just one year as starter, in which he finished with more TDs than INTs (how many 1st year starters can claim that?). He was the definition of inconsistency during that one year. At his best, he was as good as anyone...at his worst, he was truly awful. If experience helps him with anything, it would be on the consistency front. If he works at it and learns from that first year, the bad games shouldn't be as bad, and the good games should come more frequently. To suggest that he can't improve seems a bit short-sighted.
 Yeap, Grossman been in the league a whole 4yrs now and played a whole 8 games before last yr.. az_prof, how can you or anyone else say that we saw the best that he has... it was his 1st yr on the Job, and the kid throw for 26 TDs and went to the SB. Grossman is gona to improve, you watch.. and quote me if you wish.

lets hope soHe will have some good games and he will have games where he scores negative points. Even if he ends up the #10 qb he probably lost a couple games himself for your team, A person needs consistancy in there QB in ff.

Grossman is on my "buy low" list this year. He is a young QB that had 9 decent (to very good) games out of the first 10 last year. Griese is slow on the recovery and is losing a chance to gain ground. I expect Grossman to finish in the QB10-14 range which is a steal compared to his ADP.
