What is the worst dynasty trade you have been offered? (2 Viewers)

I'm doing an FFPC Triflex startup (superflex and TE premium). I have the 1.01. The guy with the 1.04 sent me an offer to trade up. Here it was:

Give: 1.01, 9.01
Get: 1.04, 10.09

Yes, the offer was for me to trade down twice. I rejected with the comment, "Not sure if you meant to send it like this." He never corrected it, and even though we've messaged and sent offers back and forth, he's never mentioned whether that was a mix-up. And all his offers have been indicative of someone who isn't interested in making anything close to a fair deal, only one that massively benefits him. So I went from "maybe he just fat-fingered that offer and sent it by mistake" to "maybe he sent it on purpose and hoped I wouldn't notice." I've done a ton of FFPC startups and have gotten offers sent by mistake, but they've always been corrected or withdrawn. Not with this guy. Weird.

I’ve killed for less

I was offered this trade yesterday.
16 team 1 QB IDP dynasty
I give up:
Rookie picks 3.5 and 3.10
I get :
2nd round rookie pick in 2026
This guy was the runner up on the league last year.

I replied back that he could maybe have one but not both. No response.
He already has two third round picks in this years draft, so I countered with those two picks for my 2nd rounder next year. No response.

1 QB 12 Team Dynasty
I was offered this:

I get:
Rondale Moore WR Min
4th pick in 2026 Rookie Draft

I give:
Roschon Johnson RB Chic

No thanks, Johnson situation is interesting this year considering that Chicago only added a 7th round rookie to their mix at RB. I'd need more than a late rookie draft pick and a depth WR coming off of a significant knee injury.

I don't hate that deal. Would have countered with 3.5 and 4.-- for his 26 2nd. Consolidating value is usually a good move.

He's trying to unclog his roster on you. But if that's the worst deal you've been offered, you've otherwise been getting some pretty sweet offers.

None of those players look that good. Not sure I would put in worst trade thread. Perhaps we need a all bums thread for trades.

Maybe, but at least Roschon is worth a "wait and see", with the new offense and second on the depth chart.

The owner making the offer said that he only made the offer to see how I felt about Johnson because he'd read reports that he'd fallen down the depth chart.

There’s a couple of unknowns in this trade; is the draft a snake draft, and does his team look equally strong this year? If the answer to both questions is yes, let’s assume that he’s projected for a similar finish this year, in which case it’s rookie pick #17~19 next year for this years #37 &#42. That’s not horrible. Low IDP value would make it more reasonable, high IDP value makes it worse.

ETA: ok, just ran it through KTC, which likes it for you, but KTC doesn’t take into account possible late pick inflated value due to IDPs.

That’s what I thought but was afraid to say anything in case there was something I missed.

Doesn't seem like a bad offer at all. Pretty standard starting off point.

But isn’t a late 2nd in a 16 teamer actually pick 29-32? No one does snaking rookie drafts do they?

Doesn't really belong in the thread. Most people enjoy getting the best player in a 2for1 trade.

Not a snake draft, so pick would be around #30. I would be okay with it if it was a 2025 pick, but to wait a year for that pick I would need more.

Not sure that pick #30 next year will be better than either picks #37 or #42 this year. I was not even looking to trade. Someone else offered a 2026 second(probably late) for that #37. To me that is a reasonable offer

Before the draft started, the same guy above was able to get someone to give him the startup 3.07 for a rookie 1st and 2nd. (For context, a rookie 1st is roughly worth a startup 7th; the guy's pick at 3.07 was Saquon Barkley.)

I mention all this because I messaged the league to say I'd be interested in trading into the 5th round and that my 2026 rookie picks were available. I got an offer of the 6.05 for my 2026 1st and 2nd -- from the same guy who previously traded his own 1st and 2nd for the 3.07.

That 2026 second (probably around #30) was eventually traded for 2025 picks #42 and #48.
