have to go with vacation.

that has many of the things listed here included that i like (food, beer, relaxing/sleeping), plus spending time with family and/or friends and having more sex, which you excluded. and it means i'm not working and am some place more beautiful than philly.

Travelling, easy. My dream job is something like what Anthony Bourdain does where he just travels everywhere and eats the food.

Winter - Cross Country Skiing
Isnt that a lot harder than it looks?

(Yeah, yeah. Thats what she said..I get it)
Not really.. Up until 3 years ago I hadn't done it since I was 10 or 11.. I was pleasantly surprised that it was much like riding a bike.. Once I got on the skis I remembered how to do it and really enjoy it.

If you can use an elliptical exercise machine at a gym it gives you the basic skills.. Then you just need to learn to balance :)

Granted I am using "Classic" ski's and not "skate" skis..

Difference is shown here

The one on the left is "Classic" whereas the one on the right is "Skate"

What you call a vacation I call everyday living down here in South Florida. I really need a reality check about how difficult life seems to be for a lot of folks who don't get 11 months of beautiful weather year round. I can understand why guys can't get outside and workout Dec-Feb, those are the prime months to exercise down here in Florida.

Just something making me realize how lucky I have it.
