and #84 is Watson. Just wondering if any NE homers might know

His number at Marshall, IIRC.#88 ???
yup. he can always buy #18 from stallworthHis number at Marshall, IIRC.#88 ???
I was thinking #88 even though currently OJ Santiago has it. I'm sure that # will be available in alittle bit. I was also thinking #81. Just a good wr #.#88 ???
I don't know, but god bless Randy Moss no matter what jersey number he chooses.
Kyle Brady has #80http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/teams/roster?team=nweKyle Brady has #88
Troy Brown is 80 as long as he's still in NE.My guess is your link feels like Brown is retiring, which he might. I personally think NE will retire 80 when Brown does hang 'em up.Kyle Brady has #80http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/teams/roster?team=nweKyle Brady has #88

We signed Santiago during the season last year. He got hurt in his first week of practice, and got put on the IR list.WOWI don't remember us signing OJ!Why did they give 80 to Brady!!?!?!???!?!?!
Number 2 might be more appropriate.just give him #1 and move on

I guess they don't have to wait till camp. This was reported back on April 23rd.STALLWORTH JERSEY: The jersey number for WR Donte Stallworth has been finalized. He'll wear No. 18, which was last worn by punter Todd Sauerbrun.Probably want it done early for Shirt Sales. How would Stallworth have 18 already? They have not even reported to camp yet.
Brady is likely the only player who stands any chance of having his number retired in after he retires. Other guys will probably have them retired too, but maybe 20-30 years from now.Troy Brown is 80 as long as he's still in NE.My guess is your link feels like Brown is retiring, which he might. They should make #80 a "golden" jersey as in you need to put in X amount of years as a patriots WR + play at least X amount of plays on special teams + play at least a couple of series on the defense and then you may be ALLOWED to wear # 80. I was thinking Brady, Brown, and Bruschi. I doubt Vinatieri or Bledsoe gets their numbers retired. In fact, I'd rather see Ty Law's #24 up there than either of those guys.Bledsoe, Vinatieri, Brady and Brown will most likely get retired by the Pats year by year.Brady is likely the only player who stands any chance of having his number retired in after he retires. I was happy as anyone to see Bledsoe replaced, as I had been calling for it for a couple of years. But we have to give credit where credit is due. Was he the greatest QB all the time? Certainly not. But that stadium was empty and the Pats were the laughingstocks of the league before Bledsoe came to town. I'll be standing on my seat cheering my bloody head off the day they retire #11.Borat said:I was thinking Brady, Brown, and Bruschi. I doubt Vinatieri or Bledsoe gets their numbers retired. The Patriots are one of the few teams that do NOT retire numbers. Older candidates that would have been considered for retired numbers are Steve Nelson, John Hannah, Stanley Morgan to name a few...Don't really know the reason why they don't do it.Bledsoe, Vinatieri, Brady and Brown will most likely get retired by the Pats year by year.Brady is likely the only player who stands any chance of having his number retired in after he retires. RAIDERNATION said:Don't forget that he's a lazy, self-centered quitting DOG.I don't see Moss's jerseys selling as well as someone predicted. In Minnesota and Oakland, there weren't many other options if you were a fan looking to buy a jersey. In New England, you've got Brady, Maroney, Brown, Bruschi, Seymour, Wilfork, Vrabel, and Harrison that all sell well, plus a second tier of guys like Watson, Colvin, Wilson, and Samuel (through last year, anyway) who also sell. I would imagine Adalius Thomas, Wes Welker, and maybe Stallworth would also cut into the potential sales of Moss jerseys.

Seriously? People would actually buy a Wes Welker jersey??6.) I don't see Moss's jerseys selling as well as someone predicted. Yes, 52.Don't know what number he'll get. Is there a universal number for idiot? There should be. Then you could identify them without having to suffer their behavior.
Even if heis an idiot I'll probably be looking to draft him if he falls to me at the right spot. I think some people will still shy away from Moss because of the baggage he brings with him. I don't think I want to rely on him as my #2wr but certainly as a 3rd. He'
ll probably be gone before that opportunity though.
Yes, you are correct. So unless he trades for a number or one becomes available if/when someone is droopped, the only numbers available to him right now are: 11, 14, 80, 82, and 89.Some observations on this thread:1.) Moss won't wear #6; I'm pretty sure receivers must choose between 10-19 or 80-89.

LMFAO. I probably couldn't have resisted that one either. Kinda set myself up for that one. It's all good though. ChristoBackpedal, right on cue. Seems about right.
You and the rest of the Moss apologists are speechless. But really... how can you defend him?
Look who's backtracking now.RAIDERNATION said:Sorry. Would "avoiding the question because you have no legitimate rebuttal" be more accurate? You are a lawyer, yes? Now how about defending your apparent position that Randy Moss ISN'T a lazy, selfish, quitter who is a terrible teammate and who has no work ethic? C'mon, indulge me just this once.
