Re-read what I wrote. I wasn't saying those movies should keep him an A-lister. One of the criteria mentioned earlier was "acting genius", which those two roles would fall under that IMO. And the million bucks comment was just a way of mentioning that he was worth paying over $20 million/year. I never watched the show, but being the lead on the biggest comedy on TV seems like a big deal to me.MaxThreshold said:Making a million bucks per episode does not make you an A-list star. It never has. However, if the article is simply making it up about an "A-list star" then I certainly could be wrong. His work in Wall Street and Platoon was almost 30 years ago. That doesn't make you an A-list star forever. In hollywoood, it's all about "what have you done for me lately?".Michael Brown said:So Sheen has turned himself into a total joke in the industry. At the time he went off the rails, wasn't he making over a million bucks per episode on the hightest-rated comedy on TV? How is that NOT the definition of A-list? Also wouldn't his work in Wall Street and Platoon qualify as acting genius?
