What NFL players has won the most super bowls? (1 Viewer)

Charles Haley
Haley leads all players (5). Mike Woicik for execs, assistants, and coaches (3 with Dallas, 3 with NE). Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, and the rest of those Stillers all have 4, as do Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, and a bunch of other 49ers. Romanowski has 4 from different teams. My related trivia question: who's the only player to win 3 Super Bowls in a row?

Although, I think the question was misworded. He was on the roster but I don't think he played in all 5 games.
This isn't the guy I was thinking of. I'm pretty sure the guy I have in mind did indeed play in all five SBs.

Assuming you didn't mean the boxer...

I don't think it is right, but Jermaine Wiggins keeps popping in my head for some reason....

Jeopardy would agree with this one.

Gale Gilbert
Couldn't have been. The guy played for two years in Seattle, two years in Buffalo, and two years in SD.
He was on the Bills roster as the third QB, but recorded no regular season stats, in 91 and 92. He played 1 game and was on the roster in 90 and 93. He played with the chargers in 94 when they played the 49ers in the Super Bowl.Edit: http://www.funtrivia.com/en/subtopics/The-...ame-119280.html
Okay, fair enough. Anyway, I think the author of that site is overlooking someone.

Unless my Roman Numerals are wrong, no one has appeared in 5 Super Bowls in 5 consecutive years:

http://www.superbowl.com/history/records/indiv/service

6 players, though, have appeared in 5 consecutive Super Bowls for thier respective team (the 5 guys who played for Dallas in V, VI, X, XII, XIII, and Elway for Denver).
:X Maybe I was wrong. I thought for sure that John Parrella played four years for the Bills before ending up with the Chargers in '94.Sorry if I screwed up and wasted anyone's time.

It's cool, funny that there actually was an answer, just a different guy. Parella was a rookie for the last Bills Super Bowl in '93.

Herb Adderly played for three Super Bowl winning teams: the Packers in 1966 and 1967, and the Cowboys in 1971 (plus the Super Bowl losing 1970 Cowboys). He also played for Green Bay's championship teams of 1961, 1962, and 1965 in the pre-Super Bowl era.

 Dan Reeves was involved as a player in in SB V and VI, as an assistant coach in X, XII, and XIII, and as a head coach in XXI, XXII, XXIV, and XXXIII. 9 total appearances. Also - he was a player/coach for V and VI, so 9 total SB appearances as a coach. He also was involved in 2 NFL championships prior to the start of SB's as well.

That would be my guess. Here's a related question:Who's the only guy to play in five consecutive Super Bowls? (Hint: he was on the losing side of all five)
Lodish?
4 with the Bills 91-94, but didn't return until Denver went in 97.Don Beebe went to the 4 with the Bills, and returned with the Packers in 96, five in six years.
OK, but Lodish was on the roster of a SB team as a player 6 times, right? Isn't that the record?

Best I can tell, he's got the record for actually getting on the field in the most SBs:http://www.superbowl.com/history/records/indiv/service

:( The question was about "wins". Dallas lost SBs V, X, XII. Reeves won as a player/coach in VI, asst coach in XII. His head coach win was for XXXIII, losses in the other three.Woicik has the record for most Super Bowl "wins" as a non-player.
