what player is the thorn in your behind this year? (1 Viewer)

the player no matter what you do you cant figure him out.

you start him, he ####s the bed,

you bench him, he runs wild

or

you just rode him too long and he continued to screw you.

Mine:

T-Rich

Go

Gio is my fourth choice RB and every time I've decided to give him a go this season he has shat the bed.

Been unable to catch a single one of his big games ( not that it has mattered too much thankfully )

yeah he was another choice of mine.

Charles Clay is another one.

not starting him this week .. cost me a spot in my semi finals..

SCREW YOU LADRIUS GREEN! !!!! thanks for coming

Cecil Shorts - I bench him and he goes nuts. I start him and he lays an egg.

Victor Cruz - Got teased in the early season and into thinking he was a top 5 ROS. Been a bummer starting him every week waiting on him giving us an appearance.

Mine was Jordan Cameron. Rode him from week 1, but benched him week 3 (30 points). Then I started him the rest of the season until 12 and benched the last 3 games. His huge game last week would have won my playoff game that I lost by 10 points.

On my own team - it was a toss up between Ray Rice and Mike Wallace.

However the biggest thorn in my side from another team was Cameron Wake. His owner was in my division. I played his team twice - in week 1 and in week 9. Of his 8.5 sacks on the season, 5.5 came in those two games. I lost both games, one by 1.5 points the other by 4 points. In both games, Wake was the statistical outlier for his position.

Gomer Manning for ####ting the bed starting week 2. You keep thinking something will happen but it hasn't. Pure suckage to the point you wonder if this jackass was adopted.

Change the ####### play at the LOS you SOB. Killdrive's playcalling sucks. You so called brother has probably already told you that.

I can relate to that with Wake and, in general, IDP players are easier to use to answer this topic. Julius Peppers, Daryl Washington, Nick Roach, any DE not named JJ Watt. It has been an incredibly inconsistent year for IDPers.

It's still funny how just last year there were talking heads on tv & radio actually declaring he was better than his brother . Freaking morons.

Um, when did T-Rich run wild?

(Oh, you mean the other thing. Gotcha.)

This is the first year I have not chased points at DL because I lucked into Watt and rolled the dice on Chandler Jones and it paid off. Most years, I am picking up DL guys the week after a 10 point outing, then getting 5-6 weeks of goose eggs.

I didn't give up on T-Rich soon enough. I should have dropped him long before I did. Thought through a couple of byes that he was as good of a chance as the waiver wire guys. Was wrong every time.

I guess I don't pay enough attention to TEs because I rode that dude all year. If a midrange TE doesn't score much it doesn't bother me because I kind of expect it

The entire quarterback position. I started off with a platoon of Michael Vick and Eli Manning. The first two weeks I chose correctly but then it was downhill. I was able to move TRich for RG3 and the fun began. He quickly drove me nuts. Spot started Foles and he threw for 80 yards so I cut him. Tried Keenum....benched. These last couple weeks McCown has been a godsend and someone got tired of waiting on Cutler so I grabbed him. Hoping the Chicago QB fixed it bc poor QB play is directly responsible for my 4 losses.

Cut RG3 today and it was so liberating.

I benched Tony Gonzales the week he went off vs. the Pats.

Benched Eric Decker when he had 4 TDs.

Those 2 stick out for me this year.

Brandon Lafell (as a flex). I swear, every time he catches a pass, there's an offensive holding penalty. When there's no flags on the ground, he drops the ball.

Opponents: Josh Gordon. I don't have him on a single team.

My own teams: Jordan Cameron. Whenever I start him, he sucks. Whenever I bench him (like last weekend), he does great.

Moreno.

Drafted him, benched him week one. After week one, traded him for Kaep and started him week two leading me to a loss. Then I played the Moreno owner who beat me due to Moreno's huge day. The last week of the year I played him again and he beat me again, leading to having a tougher matchup in the playoffs. Through the grace of McCown, I advanced and now am going to play/lose to him for a third time.

He has given me three losses this year and will more than likely knock me out of the playoffs.

Easily T.Y. Hilton for me. Start him weekly as my WR3. Hey he cant do much worse than last week, right? Giving him another go this week.

oh and I guess trading Moreno before the backfield was determined after the whole rock, paper, scissor debacle. :wall:
