sorta like steve smith...that old WR's are worth investing in. Once these guys decline there is no coming back. (Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Larry Fitzgerald)
The WR position is now a young person's game. Remember when WR's didn't break out until year 3? Now we have rookies and second year WR's making major impacts.
I know guys like Patterson breakout, but if you try to stick with guys with top caliber QBs, you'll be better off in the end.Patterson was the biggest swing and miss. Sankey as well, thought he'd atleast be startable.
Not sure why. Last year he caught a lot of good luck, which I benefitted from.![]()
Keenan Allen was rated quite highly here at our beloved FBGuys pre season. Congrats Peyton!!!
Same here.Nailed Murray, Wilson and Julius. Avoided Ball, Peterson, Rice and Harvin.Honestly not much if you exclude injuries.
This was one of mine, thought Cordarelle was probably gonna be good and if he busted Jennings would be a top 20ish WR.Norv Turner
QB?This was one of mine, thought Cordarelle was probably gonna be good and if he busted Jennings would be a top 20ish WR.Norv Turner
QB?I was convinced Justin Hunter was this year's end of draft steal.
bradshaw? hes been $I overestimated:
Patterson
Harvin
Jordan Cameron
Sankey
Ahmad Bradshaw
Joique Bell
I underestimated:
Jordy Nelson (thought ball would be spread around more)
Philip Rivers (thought he would split his good games with terrible INT-riddled games)
Steve Smith Jr. (though I suspect everyone did)
T.Y. Hilton (seems to be finding his consistency)
Julian Edelman
Kelvin Benjamin
Nailed:
DeMarco Muurray
Arian Foster
Tony Romo (solid every week starter)
funny story. i picked up that turd this week cause of percy getting traded and not having a WR to play. could have picked up allen robinson or adams(who both scored tds) but no i choose hunter cause of his 'upside' playing the was def this week. 1 rec for 6 yards later i am dropping that turd. / sry had to rantI was convinced Justin Hunter was this year's end of draft steal.
I overestimated:
Patterson - QB and young
Harvin - still up for debate
Jordan Cameron - I think everyone did
Sankey - still early for most
Ahmad Bradshaw - dude has been huge, wrong list
Joique Bell - not as bad as dodo's missed on both bush/bell
I underestimated:
Jordy Nelson (thought ball would be spread around more) - not sure how this is possible, Rodgers generates good numbers
Philip Rivers (thought he would split his good games with terrible INT-riddled games) - isn't he matching last year?
Steve Smith Jr. (though I suspect everyone did) - not everyone
T.Y. Hilton (seems to be finding his consistency) - I hope you're right, but remember 3-4 weeks ago people were dumping him.
Julian Edelman - ??? I think he's lagging pre-season expectations
Kelvin Benjamin -
Nailed:
DeMarco Muurray - nice call
Arian Foster - wow we got hooked into thinking he would retire when this was pretty obvious…another shark pool mob miss
Tony Romo (solid every week starter) - nice…national media was all over his back falling apart.

Rivers has never tuned into one WR.Keenan Allen being a legit #2 WR and Can Newton being a top 5 QB. I am getting a lot right this year but those two players are the most frustrating to me so far. Oh, and the whole Ray Rice debacle.
Sorta like he seems more like an outlier, no? And don't look now, but two of his last 3 games have been duds. He's also lived a bit of a charmed life this season, catching tipped, balls, etc. Don't get me wrong, great player and glad to see him succeed. But I don't think his example disproves my general point that aging WR's don't seem to be a good bet anymore in today's NFL.sorta like steve smith...that old WR's are worth investing in. This is fair but Norv's offense put up good passing stats last year with even worse QBs...often possible to sustain one fantasy receiver with bad to mediocre QB play.QB?This was one of mine, thought Cordarelle was probably gonna be good and if he busted Jennings would be a top 20ish WR.Norv Turner
You may be right, but the young guns aren't lighting it up either.Sorta like he seems more like an outlier, no? And don't look now, but two of his last 3 games have been duds. I think you're looking at the case of an exception to the rule standing out. "That Guy" jumps out after the fact in the stats, but when you look at the population as a whole you see a lot of laggers. This is going to sound stupid and simplistic, but I;ve come to realize identify good offense and getting players off those teams is the easiest route to good ff seasons.
Agreed. You really can't call Rice a miss. Based on what we're seeing in Balt he would have been huge. Bad break on the video going viral.
Curious as to why so we can avoid this mistake in the future. Career backup that did garner much fill in time moving to a bad team.I confess, I believed in Gerhart as an RB2.
Did you think Foster was done of did you buy into the group think stone rolling downhill?gerhart
patterson
sankey
ranked stafford over luck
thought a. foster was done.
Overrating his league leading YPC or YAC, whatever it was. On his league leading least amount of carries for any starter. Really not sure what anyone saw in him.Curious as to why so we can avoid this mistake in the future.
