I would take these two for LT,but you may be hard pressed to find someonewilling to deal these two away for LT.Jackson/S.Smith
Yeah, not many people want to trade 1st and 2nd picks to move up 1 slot in the draftI would take these two for LT,but you may be hard pressed to find someonewilling to deal these two away for LT.Jackson/S.Smith
WOW, Anthony. You wouldn't take SJax AND Steve Smith for LT ?I would say you are in the minority, swimming upstream on this one.None.

I'm swimming in the same direction I guess.... because I wouldn't take that combo for LT either.Ron_Mexico said:WOW, Anthony. You wouldn't take SJax AND Steve Smith for LT ?I would say you are in the minority, swimming upstream on this one.Anthony Borbely said:None.
I am assuming dynasty league......This may be an interesting poll.I'm swimming in the same direction I guess.... because I wouldn't take that combo for LT either.Ron_Mexico said:WOW, Anthony. You wouldn't take SJax AND Steve Smith for LT ?I would say you are in the minority, swimming upstream on this one.Anthony Borbely said:None.

agreed, as a general guide.Depends on league type. Redraft - maybe for SJax/SmithDynasty - more likely for SJax/SmithKeeper (5 or less) - no way. Every spot is precious.
In a redraft I wouldn't trade him no matter what the offer. In a dynasty, probably it would need to be some combination ofSJax+ Bush || Gore || Addai+ Chad Johnson || Fitzsa37no1 said:What would it take for you to trade LT RB/WR ?
I'm also an LT owner in one league, and I would click the button on this offer. But I am surprised at how many would not take it.i own LT in a dynasty and if someone offered SJax + S.Smith/ChadJ/Holt/Wayne, maybe even Calvin, i would take it...redraft its another story.
Do you expect LT to produce as much this year as he did last year (2000+ yards and 30+ TDs)? Because otherwise, I fail to see how this is relevant.David Yudkin said:LT scored more than just about any two players out there that were RB and WR. And that's in ONE player. IMO, it will take a lot more than a RB and a WR to get him.
Why doesn't everyone just say they would not trade him. Most of these situations are flat ridiculous.
The only way most people will trade him really is if they're on a rebuild in a dynasty. The only way most people will trade for him is if they have phenomenal depth to give. Why doesn't everyone just say they would not trade him. Most of these situations are flat ridiculous.
Say it with me now- O-Ver- Ra-TedO-Ver- Ra-TedO-Ver- Ra-TedWhat strikes me about these monthly "what would it take to trade Tomlinson" threads is that they're full of Tomlinson owners saying that they wouldn't trade him for less than some absurd offer. Notice how absent the non-Tomlinson owners are? That's because most of them have a more realistic value of Tomlinson and realize that they'll never have a shot at him.
I disagree. I view the difference between Tomlinson and S-Jax to be pretty small in dynasty (since S-Jax is 4 years younger), and would gladly trade Tomlinson for S-Jax plus another useful player, even if I wasn't rebuilding. In redraft, I'd trade Tomlinson for a top-10 and a top-20 player without much hesitation. The only way most people will trade him really is if they're on a rebuild in a dynasty. He won't come close to repeating last years numbers. Much more likely to drop back to 17 tds, than he is to run for 28, again..look at his 2004 numbers, thats where he's most likely to land, imo..1335-17, 53-441 Its back to reality for LT owners in 2006. M. Turner will see a lot of action in '07...David Yudkin said:LT scored more than just about any two players out there that were RB and WR. And that's in ONE player. IMO, if it doesn't involve SJax, you will not be getting good value for any RB/WR combo.
Unless it's a dynastyIMO, if it doesn't involve SJax, you will not be getting good value for any RB/WR combo. He hit the nail on the head. The only RB that could be in the deal is SJax.
It would take at least Jim Brown, Jim Brown clone and Rice for me.Jim Brown / Jerry Rice
