What teams (AFC/NFC) have a big 2nd half turnaround? (1 Viewer)

Who do you guys see being the teams that turns it around the 2nd half of the season and roll into the playoffs, ala NY Giants of 2007?

I'm not going to say they can win a title but I think the 2-4 Houston Texans could get on a bit of a roll and make a push for the playoffs.

I also think the 3-3 Eagles have a chance to make a big push if, if, if, if Westbrook is healthy for the 2nd half of the season.

The Eagles' next 6 or so games are easy on paper, and they tend in recent years to play much better after the bye than before it, provided they're not decimated by injuries. If Westbrook is healthy, they could be 9-3 or 8-4 by the end of week 12, which should put them in the driver's seat for a playoff spot.

AFC - J-E-T-S, they are young and should continue to mature with each game. Had they not came out with a boneheaded gameplan this week they would be in much better shape, regardless, I think they are one of the bubble teams come weeks 15/16/17

NFC - I have to say the Saints, although that division is simply good top to bottom. It's a reach really, but in the end, the entire NFC is the definition of parity save for the Seahawks and Lions.

Pats are clearly going to improve each week as they get more comfortable in what they have and how to gameplan around it.

Part of this assessment has to be which teams will perform better or worse on defense. Some teams' defenses seem to get stronger over time, especially with weather. Those are teams to beware of. The Bears, Bills, and potentially the Packers are such teams.
