What to make of Maclin now? (1 Viewer)

Not a lot of talk about Maclin here lately.Everyone was high on him the first 10 weeks or so, but after back 2 back goose eggs, the Maclin problem is a tough one to crack.

Sure we know Vick loves to hit Desean deep, but Maclin was supposed to be the possession receiver and lately Vick has been looking at the Avants just as much as Maclin.

anyone dare start him this week?

Maclin has had two poor games this year, which is pretty much par for the course for any receiver. Other than that he has been rock solid. I am starting him without hesitation.

I am debating (and having difficulty deciding) between Maclin and Branch this week in my non-PPR league. Very close.

I did the same as my #4. I still like Maclin a lot. He's improved nicely from his rookie season and is on pace for over around 70/1,000/10, pretty good for a 2nd year WR with DeSean the team's go-to WR. He's a top 15-20 WR in my leagues, but don't expect him to be consistent. I doubt I'll start Maclin again this year now that VJax is back, but he's definitely a guy I'd hold on to unless someone offered a crazy deal.

I'm starting Maclin and Mike Williams (TB) over Sidney Rice and Marshall this week in a ppr league. Maclin had a great game last time they played them. He also hasn't had 2 bad weeks in a row and hasn't gone more than 2 weeks without scoring. Looking at his stat line, he is due big-time!

Maclin has been the Macdaddy this year.....like pvs poster stated, all WR's have a few bad weeks throughout the year...I would start him over MkWilliams, too

The Giants defense i think will try to take out Djax and take their chances with Maclin. Im starting him too...
