What would your rookie top 10 look like now? (1 Viewer)

The top 4 have to be AJ, Julio, Cam and Ingram in some order i imagine. After that it gets a little tougher. Say its a ppr dynasty league, what would your rookie top 10 look like if you were drafting today?

Julio Jones

A.J. Green

Mark Ingram

Cam Newton

Randall Cobb

Greg Little

Daniel Thomas

Denarius Moore

Titus Young

Ryan Williams

Got Cobb in 2nd and Moore in 3rd.Ryan Williams still in 1st? Interesting.
Cobb and Moore were great values this summer. Of course, I thought the same about Tandon Doss as well. I really liked Williams' talent pre-injury. I recognize there's a material chance he won't ever be the same back, but even with the chance of being special halved, he still intrigues me. As an FYI, he heads up a cluster of rookie RBs in my rankings, with Helu, Hunter, Carter, Ridley, and Murray all close behind, so I don't think he's a no-brainer or anything, but if my rookie draft was today, and the first 9 guys weren't available, I'd take Ryan Williams (well, after attempting to trade back ;) )

Tough call. My gut instinct was to slot Cam in at 4th, but I recently turned down a straight-up offer of TB Mike Williams (who I like) in a PPR league for Cam, so I don't know that I can rank him 4th with a straight face. Then again, both Jones and Green look like the real deal and I still like Ingram. I'm not sure you can go wrong with any of these guys. I don't feel too comfortable about the order of my top 4. It could change by the minute. For now I'll say...1. AJ Green2. Mark Ingram3. Cam Newton4. Julio Jones5. Daniel Thomas6. Jon Baldwin7. Denarius Moore8. Randall Cobb9. Greg LittleBubble: Shane Vereen, Dion Lewis, Delone Carter, Jacquizz Rodgers, Edmond GatesBaldwin over Moore might be a bit too stubborn, but I certainly wouldn't drop him lower than 7th. I don't think Baldwin is can't-miss by any means. I just don't think you can ignore productive first rounders with the kind of tools he has. I feel like he was underrated in April rookie drafts and that certainly hasn't changed now that the wrist injury has caused some knee-jerk panic. Cobb has looked good. The only question is opportunity. Can he become the WR2 there or will Nelson relegate him to the slot? I'm intrigued by Little's potential. No one has really earned the 10th spot. I might actually put one of the two mighty mites there: Dion Lewis or Jacquizz Rodgers. I liked both of them as college players and both have already managed to work their way onto the field. If I was looking for a dynasty RB prospect on the cheap, I would consider them. Quizz might get the edge solely because he has less long term competition.

Let's be a little controversial just to make things interesting. This isn't draft order or even talent order. Just my view on who will have the best "fantasy career."

[*]Greg Little

[*]AJ Green

[*]Cam Newton

[*]Kendall Hunter

[*]Randall Cobb

[*]Denarius Moore

[*]Roy Helu

[*]DeMarco Murray

[*]Mark Ingram

Julio's omission: I just can't shake this weird vibe I have about him, I'd hate to be in a position to draft Julio.

Little: His RAC ability will eventually push him ahead of Green IMO.

Hunter: Will be a #1 overall RB taken in fantasy drafts at some point in his career. Gore's ineffective, injury prone AND being overused, great formula.

Cobb: Just love this guy. I see a Steve Smith (CAR) type of career minus the injuries + more TDs because of his RAC. Oh yea, and a competent QB for the next 10 years.

Helu: Shanny's next Portis.

Murray: Hunter's ability in Ingram's situation. However, Garrett's more willing to let a RB carry the load than Payton is. Highest upside of all the RBs IMO.

Ingram: Talent can't trump a role that I don't see changing in the near future. I'd have him lower but Brees won't be around forever. I see N.O. shifting to a running team towards the end of Ingram's career and him having SJAX type of numbers, but that's a few years (or a Brees injury) away.

LeShure (Yes, I would still take him, he can be a huge part in the offense for years to come.)
