4 pair of nice dress shoes in black and brown.

4 pair of golf shoes.

At least 8 pair of athletic shoes of all colors white, black, yellow, blue. Have Nikes, UA, Addias, Saucony, Asics. Every time there is a clearance, and I can get half off I but a new pair and the oldest get promoted to lawn shoes.

2 pair of light canvas type for summer. Threw away any sandal and flip flops years ago.

2 pair of boots for Michigan winters.

I know for a fact my wife has over 50 pair of shoes and boots of all types.

I am a nerd and actually counted. 41 total. I wear all of these at least a couple times a year. Definitely wear a few of these most of the time though

BOOTS
2 winter
2 rain
3 work
3 casual

ATHLETIC
4 climbing
2 cycling
4 trail running
1 gym
2 tennis

2 basketball
1 water shoe
1 chaco

DRESS
2 Fluevogs
2 fancy no name boots

CASUAL
2 crocs
2 flip flops
2 slippers
4 regular sneakers/shoes

7 gym shoes - mainly different styles for different activities. 1x extra pair in the back of the truck if I need to change shoes.
3x Hey dude
2x work loafers
3x Tactical shoes for range days and outdoor training
2x hiking shoes
2x boots
1x crocs
2x slides
1x cleats
2x yardwork/fishing/mud shoes/boots
2x dress shoes

I thought I was under 25, but I guess not. There are probably 2-3 pairs I don't wear enough to justify keeping.

What makes something a tactical shoe?

90% marketing. 10% it has a thicker rubber sole.

I voted 5 or less, but realized I own more than that, just don't ever wear most of them.

Wear:
1 pair of Shoes for work
1 pair of Casual Shoes
1 pair of Sliders
1 pair of Soccer Shoes

Also own:
2 more pairs of work shoes (Should maybe donate and get new pairs I like/might actually wear)
1 pair of running shoes (old and probably need replacing)
An additional pair of soccer shoes for when the current pair is done

one pair of sneakers for every day use one pair of sneakers with all the stuff in them to help my back and hips for walks one pair of old sneakers that mow the lawn in and two pairs of dress shoes one brown and one black and four pairs of moon boots take that to the bank broshoechos

Too many but once you get too many shoes, they never wear enough to need to be replaced and the amount just grows and grows but it's still less than 25 I think.
The two pair of dress shoes I own I bought in 2009 for my wedding. Same shoe, just one brown, one black. I wear them each once or twice a year. Same with my basketball shoes - I rarely play these days, so while they are like 7 years old, they are still just fine
