I was suffering from insomnia and some of the recommendations I read were:
1. No tvs in the bedroom
2. Don’t work where you sleep
3. Make as dark as possible
Added a white noise machine on my own
Sleep drastically improved. I’m out pretty quick most nights.
I was recently suffering from insomnia and the best way for me to fall asleep (When I could) was with the TV on or nature sounds from my Alexa device. I normally don't fall asleep with it on though.
I should mention that I only stream tv shows when we go to bed so that when we fall asleep, it stops and then it blacks out after 5 mins of inactivity.
Yuppers. My life partner and I sleep in different rooms and I absolutely need the TV on all night. In fact, I just got done with a work trip for a conference in Nashville where my hotel room TV wasn't working right and I actually had to sleep in complete darkness/silence last night and it sucked.
