What's the best blog for serious NFL fans? (1 Viewer)

As a fan of the NBA I've recently been turned on to the absolutely brilliant blog, NBA Playbook: http://nbaplaybook.com

Basically what the guy does is every day he takes some plays from NBA games around the league and breaks them down with illustrations and videos. It's awesome because you actually learn a lot about how basketball is played on a technical level.

Does anyone know of similar types of blogs for the NFL? The only thing I've been able to find are a handful of articles on footballoutsiders that are buried underneath a whole bunch of other stuff. Is there anything out there that breaks down X's and O's consistently?

Can't help you with yours, but thanks for the NBA play link. I coach 5th and 9th grade bball, and that's some solid analysis.

It's not a blog, but the "Sight Adjustments" articles by Jene Bramel on this site are awesome.

The best site in regards to Xs and Os that I've found is this one, but it talks more about college than the NFL. It's great if you want to understand things like the difference between a cover 2 or cover 3, and the different kinds of progressions QBs have on different plays, but it doesn't talk about specific NFL players very much.
