What's the worst movie you've ever seen? (1 Viewer)

I think the thread is on a tangent now. People are naming movies they don't like that are liked by the majority. This thread should be reserved for steaming piles of all kinds. Bonfire of the Vanities style bombs.

Need a new thread of unpopular movie opinions.
The most ironic thing about this comment (which I agree with, BTW), is that Bonfire of the Vanities was not only not the worst movie I ever saw, it wasn't even the worst Tom Hanks movie I ever saw.

I can't believe this thread has gone 10 pages without anyone mentioning this one.

Oh, hell no! Joe Versus the Valcano was a funny movie.

Rock and Roll High School. P J Soles and The Ramones, 1979. I was a freshman in HS and don't remember this movie when it came out but it was on EPIX this week.

man this movie sucks. Worse than Corvette Summer.

I kept trying to come up with something worse than this one but I keep coming back to it...

The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

my 6 yo son watched part of it this weekend, turned it off after 5 minutes and said "this is what a #### taking a #### would look like".

I'm sorry, but no. I even gave it another try a few years ago through the "movie so bad I'll enjoy the humor of it" lens. It worked for Hudson Hawk, for God's sake. Volcano, not so much. Just not good.

I hasten to point out, however, that neither was the worst movie I've ever seen, not by a long shot. I'm giving that honor to The Whole Ten Yards (another one I can't believe hasn't been mentioned yet, BTW). It's so irredeemably awful that if someone had told me after seeing it that it had been made entirely as a parody of the first movie, I'd have 100% believed them.

I asked my wife this question and this was the first movie that came to her mind.

Good call on this one. I enjoyed TWNineYds quite a bit, but the sequel was pure nonsensical garbage.

So for kicks, I just looked it up and ... TWTY scored a 4% on Rotten Tomatoes. FOUR PERCENT!

I'm certain that's the worst RT score of any movie I've ever seen. Apparently, however, it wasn't even RT's lowest-rated movie of its own year.

Wow - you learn something new every day.

I have seen a ton of zombie movies, a couple of these might take the cake.............though I suspect nobody here has or will ever see them:

Extiction

Gangs of the Dead

Bloodlust Zombies and a few other "Zombies vs strippers" kinds of movies. Even boobs cant make them bearable.

The Room - Lol.
Can't believe I missed that one earlier. Would have to be #3 on my list.

"Oh, hai, Mark!" *cut to scene of guys playing catch with a football in tuxes*

/putsRevolverToTemple....pulls trigger

Went to see the new Seth MacFarlane movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West. Walked out after 40 minutes. I'm not even sure it was trying to be funny. I'm usually a fan of his shows, but this was just........oooooof.

Flipping through channels and saw a terrorist explaining why he tortured a woman and cut off her hair and led a suicide bombing attack on the government. But he used lots of words that begin with v so it's okay. He's a hero.

It does if you don't laugh, are bored, and basically pissed about being there after 45 minutes.

Solaris and What About bob fit the ticket for me.
Solaris is very close to the worst for me. Either that or pick any Bay/Bruckheimer steaming pile like Pearl Harbor or Armageddon.

Drive, Magnolia, V for Vendetta, Fargo? Come on people!

Worst movie I have seen recently was "The Judge" with Robert Downey and Robert Duvall. Watched it on a plane, chose to read the inflight magazine rather than find out how it ended.

Lady in the Water was the only movie I walked out on.

Walked out on Fellini's Satyricon and Time Bandits.

Stallone's Cobra was remarkably bad, the cheesiness of the dialogue and situations were continually laughable.

Terrible movie. I'm flabbergasted that it's up for Best Picture. Definitely the worst movie I saw in 2014, and I saw about 25.
Are you just not a fan of Wes or u are and think it was bad work on his part?

Im a big fan of his but I agree a best picture nomination is a bit much.

On the other hand I dont really keep up with film like I used to and have no idea what kind of a movie year it was.
