WHATS UR MOST BALLSY PLAY IN WEEK 14? (1 Viewer)

I'll start, I'm rollin Javarris James and Jacoby Ford in my big TD heavy league.

I believe James touches the rock 15-18 times, if Donald Brown plays, he won't be a factor....basically cuz he has never been a factor.

I see 80 combined yards and 1 score for sure, but maybe 2 for James.

Ford had his lowest production since being relavent last week and he still scored a TD, I easily see him being more involved, and he has a week secondary to go against. Plus their special teams are not the best, you can always get lucky and catch a return TD.

I did the same with Branch on Thxgivin, and Ivory and Ford this past week, I figured I would try my luck again with James and believe Ford can do it again.

Ivory at RB2 and Lynch at flex. They were both on my bench last week and it is not going to happen again.

Last week I started Lynch @ RB2 and made the playoffs by less than 5 points in a tiebreaker.... This week I just grabbed Ivory on the wire and will probably be starting him. Let's hope I get lucky again with a TD vulture on home team that should score some points.

I'm strongly considering sitting Andre Johnson for either Jacoby Ford, Donald Driver or Robert Meachem.... Between AJ's tweaked ankle, the MNF time frame, and the BAL matchup there's a good chance I'll end up pulling the trigger on one of those three guys Sunday morning. Right now Jacoby leads the pack with his JAX matchup, Driver is a close 2nd. Either one probably qualifies as a ballsy (or stupid) move.

James Starks over BJGE (who's been money almost every week).
I'm tempted to do that as well but I don't think I can go through with it unless there are reports that Starts will be the main guy.I'm also considering Percy Harvin over Terrell Owens depending on the weather in Buffalo and Harvin's status. Not really as ballsy move as some of the others on here though.

Real close to starting Dixon or Javarris James over Bradshaw. Tell me not to.
Dude, I'm rollin Ivory, JJames, Ford, and MWTB If you told me I'd be starting 4 rookies along with Tamme out of 7 starters (not counting def and k, they make a total of nine), I'd laugh at you.James is a good play, and I think more people then you think will be playing him.

Probably going to sit Bradshaw for Blount if that makes your decision any easier...
Lol..not really. I'm considering several guys (Starks, James, Dixon) over Bradshaw this week. Just can't decide on one. I wish I knew Bradshaw would get 15 plus carries again...but I'm not sold on it.

Duh, I'm still living in 2009. TO is on the Bengals now, not the Bills.FIXED.

I'm rollin w/ Bradshaw against MIN b/c I feel he'll see a lot of passes his way and make out ok - .5PPR. (also lack of better options)

I guess the more ballsy play is plugging in Dixon v. SEA. I just hope he gets 1 TD since he's the GL back.

Starting McNabb at QB (Former Romo/Stafford owner)

Starting J. Best and B. Wells at RB this week (former Gore owner don't have another choice - Well Goodson but he is dinged up)

If Best could just catch a few passes and find the endzone again that would be wonderful.................as far as Wells goes why doesn't Arizona give him more of a chance besides Fitz he is the Cards next best player. The talent is there just no opportunity.

I am also starting M. Thomas, Crabtree, M. Williams at WR (former Nicks and Marshall owner - Have Manningham on the bench).

I am either going to lose HUGE or get incredibly lucky!

Probably Chris Ivory at RB2 and Jacoby Ford at Flex.
For most people thats ballsy...for me, having lost Gore, Pierre Thomas, and (later after having acquired via trade) Addai - my starting rbs will be Chris Ivory and Tashard Choice.Still managed to get to the #3 seed in the playoffs despite losing those guys (and Jermichael Finley and Tony Romo)....but my team is so decimated I will surely be knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Oh well, its been fun trying to manage a rag tag outfit while it lasted.

James will get you 4 carries for 10 yards and zero TD's 3 weeks out of 4 . I would be careful ... Not over Bradshaw ..I also dont understand the love for Dixon ... 9 carries last week and not more coming this week ...

This may not be as risky as some of the plays mentioned in this thread, but I am starting Hines Ward over Mike Thomas and both of the Seattle receivers (Williams and Obomanu).

Ward has killed me every time I've played him this year, and he has had 20+ points every time I've sat him.

Cool, I'm playing against him this week so hope your luck continues :blackdot:

Possibly, but he has 5 tds and has only been in the league since week 8 (Thats only 6 games), I'll take my chances in a TD league.

Rollling with Bradshaw vs a stout MIN D over Tolbert. Playing SD Def against KC. Pretty ballsy considering how awful they were last week vs. OAK

The 9 carries last week was actually evenly split w/ Westbrook. SF was playing from behind and airing it out, killing Dixon's opportunities.Dixon did have one GL carry from the 2 yd line, but he was stuffed. That would have given him about 10+ pts on the day vs GB.SEA cannot stop the run so look for SF to use both Westbrook and Dixon heavily this week. I prefer the GL guy though.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.AJ is healthy and the HOU passing game actually looks like it's getting itself together. They looked good against a pretty tough Philly game in Philly.Granted, Balt is tough, but Hou is at home. And now that Houston is probably out of the playoffs I'm sure they'll light it up.Benching AJ for any of these three options is a terrible idea.KY

Probably will be starting Starks (vs Lions) over Benson (vs Steelers)...will be checking the news on Starks throughout the week to hear if he will be the main guy again this week.

Also considering starting Garrard over Cassel and Fitzpatrick...I have horrible QBs.
