WHATS UR MOST BALLSY PLAY IN WEEK 14? (1 Viewer)

starting Denver D vs a qb looking to get taken advantage of over Giants D vs Minny

Lee Evans in what will probably be a blinding blowing snow storm over Harvin or Burleson

Denver D vs John Skelton... Denver has scored 40 points all year in my league. And Ivory RB2
Yep... I'm rollin w/ Denver over Baltimore.I've got Ivory too and I reactivated him from the taxi squad this week, but I don't I start him over MJD, Rice, Hillis

Probably Chris Ivory at RB2 and Jacoby Ford at Flex.
For most people thats ballsy...for me, having lost Gore, Pierre Thomas, and (later after having acquired via trade) Addai - my starting rbs will be Chris Ivory and Tashard Choice.Still managed to get to the #3 seed in the playoffs despite losing those guys (and Jermichael Finley and Tony Romo)....but my team is so decimated I will surely be knocked out of the playoffs in the first round. Oh well, its been fun trying to manage a rag tag outfit while it lasted.
I'm with you on this one. Having dealt with injuries all year (Gore, Addai, Nicks, Gates, Stewart) I managed to squeak into the playoffs as the #5 seed. First round of the playoffs I get to choose between Ivory/Greene/Hightower for my two RB slots while I'm playing against the MJD/Foster owner. :bag:

With the news of Ahmad Bradshaw, Mike Williams, and Ben Obomanu all missing practice, I may have a new one. Starting Pierre Thomas as my flex.

Hello first round playoff exit!

With today's news, I'm considering Torain over Ced-Ben. Not TREMEDOUSLY "ballsy," but anytime you trust words from Skeletor, it's a gamble.

Yep... I'm rollin w/ Denver over Baltimore.
Same here. I have the top scoring defense in our league (Chicago), and I'm playing them for the bottom scoring one.I hope this isn't one of those kick myself moments that I'll be having.

You know who would be the absolute ballsiest start for week 14?

Randy Moss

Over pretty much anybody else.

The Colts D just lost it's starting CB and TEN is due for a bounce back. I don't see Coach Fisher letting them play like a bunch of losers again. But what a risky play that would be. You could get anything from 80 and a TD to Randy walking out on the team during the national anthem with the ladder possibility being more likely.

Seriously thinking of starting Hillis and Turner over Foster who has Balt. D. Hmmmm.....

I'm strongly considering sitting Andre Johnson for either Jacoby Ford, Donald Driver or Robert Meachem.... Between AJ's tweaked ankle, the MNF time frame, and the BAL matchup there's a good chance I'll end up pulling the trigger on one of those three guys Sunday morning. Right now Jacoby leads the pack with his JAX matchup, Driver is a close 2nd. Either one probably qualifies as a ballsy (or stupid) move.
Dumb, dumb, dumb.AJ is healthy and the HOU passing game actually looks like it's getting itself together. They looked good against a pretty tough Philly game in Philly.Granted, Balt is tough, but Hou is at home. And now that Houston is probably out of the playoffs I'm sure they'll light it up.Benching AJ for any of these three options is a terrible idea.KY
Agreed, don't you dare!

May start Tolbert ahead of either Mendenhall or Charles to lock up SD's offense (also starting Rivers, Kaeding and Gates).

What do you think of Ajirotutu? I figure Flowers and Berry will double Floyd or Berry will help a double Gates with another DB or LB but either way, Gates and Floyd will get most of the attention from the KC defense which could leave things wide open for Ajirotutu. I could see Rivers going to him a lot.

I'm seriously considering sitting Brady for Flacco.

Flacco has a dream match-up vs a Houston D that's been unable to stop any QB not named Rusty.

Brady is playing against a tough pass D, on the road, in a huge potential letdown game, with a forecast of 30mph winds.

Still not sure I can pull the trigger on it, though.

One of the very reasons I'm being ballsy and starting the Bears D against NE. I have not seen one person actually say they are starting Chicago, and some are even starting the Denver F'n Broncos over the Bears. A 40 point shellacking in a DIVISION HOME game is one thing. But a game at Soldier Field in what is being predicted to be terrible conditions, does not scream shoot out to me. I think the bears could be a good "ballsy" play.

Thinking about Randy Moss over Kenny Britt and Mario Manningham
I thought about it but then came to my senses. I just don't want to go out like that. I also think Britt's reps/snaps could come at the expense of Moss's. Frankly, I'd play Britt before Moss but wouldn't play either of them over Manningham. I'm starting Ajirotutu over Moss. Naanee should miss the KC game and I'm hoping the Chiefs D doubles up on Floyd and Gates thus leaving my boy 'Tutu to go wild like he did in week 9.

Starting Crabtree over Nicks + Marshall in TD heavy league even if they are both healthy. Crab + Smith were is sync before Smith went down. Smith would be smart to get his #1 involved early and often

I wouldnt consider playing Crabs ballsy.

He is a good wr who has been getting some points and producing.

He is prolly some teams #3 wr.... now playing Moss is ballsy!

I was thinking about Orton over Brady until i looked at Brady's points when he plays a tough defense. He scores very well when playing top defenses probably cuz they dont even try to run much, not sure....

Not sure if its ballsy, but its definitely a worrisome decision.

Going with Garcon over Santonio Holmes in a PPR. Just worried about Miami's DBs, who've been rock solid this year, especially the last month or so.

Different path, but I dropped Austin Collie and picked up Choice, mainly so my competition wouldn't grab him. I'm rolling the dice that Collie's not coming back for at least 3 weeks.

Also considering starting Choice or Dixon over J. Charles in a non-ppr league.

Terrell Owens is the #6 scoring WR in my league (non PPR)

Considering starting Blair White over Terrell Owens.

Owens is on the road against PIT who he just torched 5 weeks ago at home (10-141-2), but this game is on the road, PIT has probably game planned differently for him this time, TO is only averaging 48yds per game the past four weeks, and the weather report is supposed to be NASTY in Pitt with heavy winds and possible snow. Thing that sux is that I don't have the luxury of waiting for a more accurate weather report since IND plays tonight against TEN.

Not really ballsy more of a forced move by injuries. Have to start Javarris James at the flex and Danny Woodhead at WR.

This sounds like my team....R. Bush, knoshown, Dallas Clark, Tony Romo, Mathews just to name a few....

Considering benching Bowe for floyd since Croyle may be starting this week. Also starting Chioce over Benson which may not be ballsy but very seriously considering J James over Jacobs. I just wish I knew what Brown was going to do tonight against the Titans.

Going with Seyi Ajirotutu out of necessity since it looks like BMW and Obomanu and possibly Nicks are all out.

Like Blount's matchup this week a lot but not enough to put Blount in for Forte after the last few weeks that Forte has put up.

Considering skelton over big Ben. Worried about snow rain heavy wind broken nose foggy mask visor and gimpy foot. My league awards six points for td and does not penalize for fumble or int.

I started Hillis but not Turner. Can we turn this into the NO Balls thread???Oh well maybe Foster gets 3 TD's vs Baltimore.
