What's your bold prediction for 2004 (1 Viewer)

Top 5 RBs fantasy-wise:1. Edgerrin James
I will have plenty of predictions later on this offseason, but this one I would put up all of Bill Gates' money on to win back a single dollar that this will not happen.
Edge is looking good so far. The rest of my predictions were way off.

My REAL Bold Predictions:

1. C Palmer will be a top-15 QB

2. T Hollings will become starter in HOU after Week 4, and finish in top 12

3. The first Eagles/Cowboys matchup will feature the greatest battle of "chump-dom" ever known to man! Key will spout first after getting a "first" down (cuz the man couldn't find the endzone if he were Jimmy Hoffa); and TO will end up in a split screen on the big-screen in Big-D on his cell w/ J Horn!

4. CT Dawgz take the prize in MOXFFL III.
WOW !!! Pretty good call with number 3, Mr Kreskin!

most predictions off, except these two stood out in my mind:from TheFanatic:

My prediction is this: Kevan Barlow doesn't finish in the top 15 at RB. Now that all the carries are his with the loss of Hearst one would think he would rock, but the loss of Garcia, Owens, Streets, and an O-Lineman and I see that Offense going into the tank
from PhinsFan:
Portis stinks it up this season
nicely done

Clinton Portis is 7th in the league in rushing and has a good shot to finish with 1,500 yards. His 7 TDs are dissapointing, but in my main league (pretty standard scoring) he is still the #10 RB. The Skins may have stunk it up, but it's not because of Portis.

I wouldn't say what should be a 1500-yard season "stinks", but the substandard YPC is definitely disappointing. Obviously, TDs are as much a function of the team's inept QB and overall offensive play.Substandard no doubt, but the term stinks is better reserved for the Barlows of the world.

Clinton Portis scores 20 TD's.

NFC East final records

9 - 7

8 - 8

8 - 8

7 - 9

(you sort out the teams)

Chris Chandler is the Ram's starting QB by Game 9.

Chargers sign Bea Arthur to their WR "mix".
I predict that my predicitions will stink. ;)

New England and Dallas pass on a RB at #21 and #22
I am pretty impressed with this prediction.
I'm more impressed by the Dallas one since the Pats got Dillon before the draft. I think they would have drafted a RB if they didn't pull off the Dillon theft..er trade. :P

1 philly wins superbowl

2 davis gets hurt in week 5 and foster gains 1400 yrds in remaining games

3 warner gets picked up by arizona and leads team to playoffs

4 Lt falls out of top 5 rb's

5 clinton portis breaks 2000 yrds and plays entire year

6 chad penninton leads all teams in yrds and thrown td's

7 dillon picked up by the boys and rushes for 1400

8 ricky and kordel announce thier love publicly
1 philly wins superbowl Maybe2 davis gets hurt in week 5 and foster gains 1400 yrds in remaining games Close, but Foster can't stay healthy

3 warner gets picked up by arizona and leads team to playoffs He might have led the Giants to the playoffs if Coughlin wasn't a moron

4 Lt falls out of top 5 rb's Yep, thanks to his groin injury

5 clinton portis breaks 2000 yrds and plays entire year Nope, maybe next year

6 chad penninton leads all teams in yrds and thrown td's Nope

7 dillon picked up by the boys and rushes for 1400 Right on

8 ricky and kordel announce thier love publicly Didn't everyone see the wedding photos? :D

Pretty good predictions even if they didn't work out just right.

Really? I know everyone has different scoring systems, but in my fairly standard scoring league (1 pt/10 yards, 6 pt TDs, no points for receptions or fumbles) he's #2 on the year, and at his current pace will blow by Alexander to take top spot. Not trying to pick on you, but this "LT2 was a bust in 2004" talk must be coming from people who didn't actually have him in their lineups.

Thank you, thank you. What's funny is that not many people had the same prediction. I thought this was a no brainer, but the Barlow Kool=Aid was being passed around rather liberally on this site. I shoulda publicized my prediction that Clayton would be the best Rookie WR. Didn't publish it, but I did trade away the pick where I could've gotten ROY or Fitz in the 1st and grabbed Clayton in the 3rd. I didn't publicize it, but I did ride Clayton for a few games on my way to the playoffs and the SB (first SB appearance in this league for me!!!)

He's currently the #1 RB in my league.
Sorry, after my loss week 14 in the playoffs I didn't check his ranking - he was #6 at the time and after the last 2 week has moved up to #3.He's certainly not a bust and is in the top tier with Barber, Alexander, Martin and James. Dillon is just outside the top 5 and gets a  from me for his consistency (no games under 8 and only 3 games under 14!).

I think that Josh McCown will have a really good year. A great offensive-minded head coach in Green, and underrated weapons at his expense.
:rotflmao:
You left out the best part ---- your consistency over time. ;)
I predicted that Trung Canidate was going to be a stud last year. Talk about laying an egg, so obviously I have nothing to brag about this year.I think that Josh McCown will have a really good year. A great offensive-minded head coach in Green, and underrated weapons at his expense.
You're on a roll! :rotflmao:

:yucky:This is why I never even dared to think of coming out with my very own Fantasy Football website. I've been moderately successful in the game of Fantasy Football, but I suck at giving advice.
