What's your go to late night snack? (1 Viewer)

I like peppercinis wrapped in salami with a piece of string cheese (dipped in the pepper juice) tied in a knot around it.  Turkey is ok too

Popcorn, but tastes soooo much better making it myself in a Whirley-Pop.  Only takes a minute or two longer than the microwave.
I'm with you on this one. The Whirley Pop is worth its weight in gold. I have a bunch of shake toppings too. White cheddar, cheddar jalapeño, nacho cheese, etc.

My go to snack on a regular (non drunk) basis in regards to late night would probably be either cereal or pita bread/chips with hummus.  If I'm out of pita bread or chips--I'll actually use cucumber slices or carrot sticks with hummus. I do generally make my hummus a bit more spicy by adding sriracha to it.

My go to snack when I'm drunk (which pretty much only happens when I'm in vegas) is walking to or getting a cab to the nearest del taco. Nothing like a carby, greasy, burrito to soak up the alcohol and to put me asleep.

Not my every night snack but I feel I owe it to you to share this recipe discovered in the 1991 era while at college.

Microwave safe dish, cream cheese spread on the bottom of the dish, hormel beanless chili comes next then topped with a Mexican blend shredded cheese. Nuke for 4 minutes, stir so it is no longer 3 separate ingredients but one cohesive gooooo known as Freak Dip. A side of sour cream is recommended and your favorite tortilla chip. Enjoy!

English muffin with cheese? Expand upon this please

I remember as teens making english muffin pizzas with pasta sauce and cheese
I toast the muffin and stick a piece of velveeta cheese in it while it is hot so it melts.  If I have boars head deluxe ham, I might throw a slice of that in it too.  Lazy mans grilled cheese.

I always make sure to have some summer sausage,  pepperoni, salami,  or other type of cured sausage on hand.  Add that to some cheddar,  Colby,  pepper jack,  or other hard cheese and some Ritz crackers and you're good to go.

Plus,  an assortment of peppers, mustards,  and hot sauces so every bite tastes different.

I feel like this is deja vu all over again. Didn't you start this exact same topic a year or so ago too?

Brie cheese, crackers, siracha.

tortilla chips (scoops), melted cheese, and either hot sauce, siracha, BBQ sauce, or some cayenne pepper.

Sober. Spicy hummus with any veggie.

Drunk...vanilla ice cream while pouring caramel or chocolate syrup into the container while eating.

I have recently discovered sunflower seeds, already out of the shell. I could eat these things by the gallon. So good...

Cottage cheese, Few cracked pepper triscuits.

Sometimes some deli meat wrapped in Swiss - honey mustard dipped.
Cottage cheese is definitely underrated. If you want sweet, add some pineapple and juice. If you want savory, add some ham chunks. Certainly a good snack, and healthy, too.

And deli meat plus cheese? Ain't nothing wrong with that.

mmmmm either garlic or siracha hummus and pita chips or claussen pickles.
The claussen mini kosher dills are awesome.  I'll even steal a swig of the juice.  So much different than any other pickle juice.

I have been doing this forever -  Apparently it is now a "hip" thing to do at the bar.  I have overheard, on several different occasions, people ordering shots with a pickle juice backer.  I was even more surprised the bar had the pickle juice.  Shooked...

Yeah, same.  Just had never had Claussen's until about 6 months ago.  Surprised at how different the juice tastes. And it's awesome to help mitigate a hangover.

I've heard that about it being taken with shots at the bar....tequila I think?

Not sure about the shot type.  I actually drink a bit to help with acid reflux from spicy food (no idea why it works but it does).
