Things on my mind:
-If Carolina goes to the playoffs S. Smith should win the MVP
-I. Bruce continues to be a fantasy starter.
-The Saints are for real.
-Detroit is starting to get Martz's offense
-Warner is now offically done as an NFL QB after only 4 weeks into the year and it is not due to an injury. (I thought this wouldn't happen until much later into the season).
-Brees is a much better QB then he gets credit for. One of the top 10 in the league, really getting close to top 5. Remember he is only 26 the same age as Vick right now. (Brees was born in 79 though compared to Vick at 80).
-I hate NE but you can never count them out.
-Would have never thought that one of the early offensive rookie of the year candidates would come from the Saints and not be named Bush.
-That in 3 nfl games the Raiders throwing game has only had 27 completions. That whopping average of 9 a game is so bad. In fact, L. Coles in the 3 games before this week had 24 completions himself.
-M. Turner has 221 yards in 3 games behind the games best RB and is on pace for 1179 yards.
-Grossman has to be considered an actual fantasy starter every week and should be considered as an early season MVP candidate
This is crazy as only a month ago people were calling for Griese to start the season.
-You can come back from knee injuries quicker than ever before.
-Just when you think the T. Owens saga couldn't get any weirder it can.
-I think there has been far to many personal fouls called this year that shouldn't have been.
-The refs are starting to get a bit better, but they still take way to much time on video reviews.
-Favre still has some games in him.
-I didin't think that after 3 weeks Frye, Grossman, Carr, and Pennington would be averaging more points than C. Palmer and T. Brady.
-I didin't think that after 4 weeks there would only be 9 RB's in the NFL that have more rushing TD's than P. Manning. And S. Alexander is not one of those 9 guys.
Biggest Surprise of the year so far:
it is not a fantasy stat or even the TO suicide scandal but a guy playing in the NFL would have the nerve to rake his cleats against another human being while he is defenseless and on the ground. That is disgusting; and it is not as if it was a little scrape, he cut him open for 20 stiches. Absolutely shocking.
