When did Ronnie Brown OFFICIALLY go on IR (1 Viewer)

PR Sparty

The Brown owner picked up Chatman in our Dynasty league and didn't list anyone to drop. I think he assumed Brown was on IR already. There were other owners who bid on Chatman and would get him if the Brown owner didn't list a drop with Brown still on the active roster.

Is there any NFL official release as to when they put him on IR. Was is before Wednesday, 10/24 at 10:00am??

TIA

Ronnie Brown-RB- Dolphins Oct. 24 - 3:53 pm et Dolphins placed RB Ronnie Brown and SS Renaldo Hill on injured reserve with torn ACLs, ending their seasons. Both will have surgery sooner rather than later, which is a good sign. Brown was playing so well in his first season under Cam Cameron that it seems unlikely the Dolphins would provide any real competition for him in 2008. One concern is with Brown's weight, which has fluctuated during his time as a pro and could be a problem during his rehabilitation period.

I hate to be a pest....but do you think 9:21pm was when the article was written or when the paperwork was acutally submitted by the Dolphins. This is going to be a BIG DEAL in my league, so I need all the backup I can get

I really think you are never going to know....and since Brown is indeed on IR, what is the big deal? Seem like a simple cut-n-dry deal

I think if you guys give the Brown owner a hard time and take Chatman away that is ridiculous. He was out for the year, I know FF is usually comeptitive, but that's just ridiculous. It's still fun. i would almost bet this is a big deal to you because you put in a claim for Chatman too and didn;t get him. Tell whoever is whining to bag it.

stupidest thing everbrown is on IR, if that means his owner gets chatman so be it.getting down to what time and date he went on ir is dumb, if i were in your league and saw this post i would drop everyone and tell you where to shove your league

wow, some people are taking FF a little too far...
I know this sounds pretty petty, but this owner is the exact kind of guy who would call someone out for doing this. So not only did he not indicate that he wanted to move RBrown to the IR, he did not drop someone off his full 16 man roster to make room for JC if he won him. I'll just let it go if he was IR'ed on Wednesday

and this is why my league doesn't do a first come first served waiver wire. Bunch af ###es running to the wire the second someone hears news about someone. The nFL 's waiver rules should apply in FF too, must pass through the worst teams first.

Good thing we don't either. This is a dynasty league where guys sign players to 1-5 year contracts with a overall team budget. This owner bid $3 for 3 years (total amount of contract wins so $3 + $4 + $5 = $12 total) and someone else bid 3.50 for 2 years. Give me a little more credit then a running to waiver wire league.
