When do we get the projections for THIS WEEK? (1 Viewer)

With the site revamp I want to make sure I'm not missing where I go to find my content.

Last year you could find content sorted into specific weeks...I liked that format.

Is it going to be the same this year and if so, when/where can I find the content specific to week 1??

 
There has been a history of missed deadlines, but this seemed to get much better last year. However you should keep in mind that, even in cases where they 'hit' the deadlines, they consider a Tuesday deadline to be 11:59:59 PM Pacific time, so if you need it before 3AM ET Wednesday you may be disappointed.

 
Jesus people... relax. I know it's week 1 and we're ALL dying to see how our many many hours of draft prep served us.... but unless you're in a league that requires you to set your lineups 72hrs before the first game you'll be alright. My advice... check back after Dinner Tuesday... consider yourself lucky if the projections are up. If not then just set your lineups wednesday morning. :bye:

Any numbers they throw out now are just gonig to be revised/tweaked down the stretch anyway....

But that brings up a big point that doesn't really apply to Week 1 but it's something that will come into play for Week 2.

One of the HUGE changes for us is that we're going to be trying to get out projections and cheatsheets much earlier in the week. People have asked quite a bit for this change and we've listened and we're going to try and accomodate them.

But I'll be honest, it's insane trying to do these projections this early as there are TONS of variables that go into these projections that will be totally unknown as David's working them up.

I want to say it right here that I expect these projections to change a LOT as the week progresses and injury situations become more clear and we see how a player practices and such.

So please understand, these preliminary projections are exactly that: Preliminary. I'd very much prefer not to even do them as I expect them to look different from the projections later in the week that we feel MUCH more confident in. But people have begged us for a look at what we're thinking very early in the week and we're going to try and accomodate as best we can. But know they'll change as we get more inputs into the process.

No problem, kev. I'm right there with you. I say this every year, but I can't remember being this stoked for the opening game in a while. Seems like the NFL draft was just yesterday and now we're about to kick off. :rolleyes:J

I honestly can't either, JB. Maybe it's the amount of "mysteries" that'll get solved Week 1 (Portis, Peterson, etc...), but I'm way too eager for this, in a way I haven't been before.

So the week 1 Tuesday projections won't be available until Wednesday, unless you're on Pacific Time?
