Here is one depth chart found

WR1 Randy Moss, Reche Caldwell, Wes Welker

WR2 Donte' Stallworth, Jabar Gaffney, Kelley Washington

That doesnt even count Troy Brown (why would they resign him if they didnt intend to keep him?) , Chad Jackson (Maybe IR, otherwise can't cut him loose), and Bam Childress (supposedly may return kicks for them this season)

Thats 9 WR's that have a role with the team!?!? Obviously they will keep 6, but how will they get rid of 3? I thought it would be Childress, Caldwell and Gaffney, but Caldwell and Gaffney supposedly look the best in practice working with Brady?

so who do you think will be cut and whn will the first cuts be made? Either way atleast 1, probably 2 decent players will be let go and probably catch on else where.

Washington and Childress arent making this team. Washington just isnt good enough, and Childress is primarily a return specialist. Washington will likely be cut before Childress. Jackson is either going to be PUPed until midseason or he's heading to IR. I think theyd rather PUP him, but returning after an ACL tear inside of a year for a WR during a playoff push doesnt seem like a good idea for such a young and potentially promising kid. The interesting angle here on the WR chart imo is Brown. He hasnt really done much this offseason or in camp. I dont know how ready he is or exactly what's going on here with him.

Washington probably won't make the team. Childress will be hopefully returned to the Practice Squad. Chad Jackson to PUP. Brown is 37 and knows this offense better than anyone minus Brady or Belichick so he needs no time to prepare. Also I think they keep 7 WR's. Troy Brown serves many functions including DB and PR.

They might even PUP him and use him down the stretch. Injuries always happen.
