In the past I have used an Access database to track NFL weekly stats. I have used ESPN's Insider ($30) as the source for the raw data and merely copied and pasted into the database I designed. This has allowed me to manipulate the data into limitless scoring systems and reports. This has worked well for the past 5 years (other than having to put up with flashy ads, pop-ups, and a ridiculously confusing layout) however now the stats will no longer be available. Does anyone know where I can find the raw data stats free (or for a nominal fee) in table form for quick copying? I need something that has following individual stats for each player each week:
Passing Attempts
Completions
Passing Yards
Passing TD's
INT's
Rushes
Rushing Yards
Rushing TD's
Receptions
Receiving Yards
Receiving TD's
Return TD/Special Teams TD
2 PT Conversions
Fumbles
For example many places have only position specific stats (no passing for RB's and WR's and no receiving for QB's) ignoring the fact that many RB's and WR's throw passes and QB's sometimes catch passes on trick plays or deflections. I looked at the FBG stats but they seem to be position specific stats only. TIA.
