Dave Baker

Damn glad to meet you
New Orleans seems unlikely on the surface to take Bush and could trade down if the opportunity presents itself. That opportunity seems most likely for those teams right behind the #2.

Me? I think Bush ends up a Saint next year. Just about the worst spot he could possibly end up.

Tere will be a trade - just don't know with whom yet. The trade may even occur after New Orleans drafts Bush.

I have to disagree with this, deuce is a stud when healthy but he has a tendency to get hurt to put it politely. Also this is a good year for offensive lineman, I don't see bush becoming a saint but I don't consider it a bad thing if he does

Al Davis is a mad man.

He will forsake all defense for a chance at the best CA player in decades.

Tomorrow morning we will hear about the Saints acquiring #7, Oakland's 2007 #1 and Jerry Porter.

RB will be holding a silver & black jersey tomorrow.

maybe the broncos will trade the house for reggie :D
With the success Shanny has had with mid to late round RBs, why in the hell would they even consider this?Coming from a Bronco fan? You should know better.

Agreed. As long as Skeletor is at the helm, it seems unlikely they trade up for a RB.

Wow. Wow. Wow.

I go out for a couple hours and come home to this

:tfp:

Tomorrow is gonna be AWESOME.

Same thing here, had a guys night out, poker, and came back to a changed world ;) As a guy who'll be living north of Nashville next year, I'd love to see Bush a Titan. Doubt it will happen, but the idea is awesome. :excited:

I like SF as the darkhorse here. Surprised to see GB ahead of them in this poll as SF with those two first rounders seems to have a better method of moving up.

Agreed,NY has the best chance, SF has the 2nd best chance.

I agree that the Jets have a very good chance of getting Bush but I'm rootin' hard for my Niners to put together a lackage to get him. Might have been their intention all along to get two first round picks and offer them to get Bush.

I'm curious why you think NO is the worst spot he can go to. On paper I think I might prefer Brees, Horn, Stallworth over Carr, Johnson, and Moulds. I know Deuce is more established than Dom Davis is, but he looked kind of heavy and slow to me last yr and is coming back from a major ACL injury. With the season starting in Sept, Deuce won't even be one year removed from that injury and it's a injury that typically takes RBs 2 years to come back to form.

You pretty much summed it up except I think Deuce is still going to be great. Health is a monstrous question, of course, but if Deuce is healthy, I think it severely limits Bush's impact, at least next year.I'm curious why you think NO is the worst spot he can go to.
