Where's the Perfect Draft? (1 Viewer)

Hope you guys get them for your drafts. I didn't get mine for a 14-teamer this past Saturday :kicksrock:

Nevertheless, I used some of the principles from the 12-team article. Hopefully they apply.

Having our draft a week later this year. Looks like the same result though. Disappointing but understandable I guess :lmao:

Not really. You paid $27 or something, right?
Which of the 3 sentences is not accurate?

The "understandable" part.

Whatever the case, 14-teamers are interesting. I'm doing my main one tonight. Your draft pick plays a huge role in your strategy the first few rounds. Don't reach, but do not buy all the "there's a ton of depth at RB this year" propaganda, either.

Get at least one guaranteed stud RB if possible. Otherwise, it will be a long year for you. And unless value slaps you in the face, target a QB in round five or six. For some odd reason, there's usually a QB run in these 14-teamers in the late third/fourth, then a slow continual QB sniping in five and six that can get ugly. I've waited until round seven to grab a QB before and wound up with the waterboy.

Good luck.

Wish they would do the articles early and update if needed rather then wait until the last week and miss alot of drafts.

I threw that in there because I'm generally not one to complain about stuff like this. Just disappointing that I find myself in the same boat again this year the night before our draft. But hey, I came back this year, I'll probably come back again next year  :kicksrock:

I didn't join this year for the first time in five years. So far, so good. Again, good luck!

I remember the frustration of many last year on this topic. Kind of surprised it happened again in 2007. I agree that it needs to be done earlier with notated edits as needed.

I haven't drafted yet in any of my 3 leagues, but I totally understand the bitterness.
