Which Bills WR would you rather have for 2010? (1 Viewer)

There's a good chance one or both of these players are available in most leagues.

Evans seems like the better talent but Johnson is putting up better fantasy numbers.

Fitzpatrick has been a decent fantasy QB, amazingly.

So who would you rather have?

I'd actually rather have Johnson right now.

Maybe it's having the presence of Evans on the other side, but Johnson is at least showing some signs of what we haven't seen from Evans for years - consistency.

The bottom line is that I've had Evans before and can't go through the aggravation of a few big games surrounded by a ton of clunkers. At least we don't know what we have with Johnson yet.

Who is Steve Johnson?

seriously I go with the talent in Lee Evans but only if I really have too. Owning any Buffalo players for Fantasy purposes is worse then actually being a Bills fan.

Johnson's numbers the past 3 weeks in my league...191014Not bad for a WR5 or so.

This has been discussed in the Evans to Rams rumor thread, but after all these years, it may be past the point of talent winning out in the end. Evans may just not be as good as the tangibles say.

For what it is worth, last week I dropped Evans for Johnson. No regrets thus far, although I did laugh to myself that of course it was the week where Evans finally came alive.

I released Evans last week also. It was guaranteed he'd have his best week of the season Sunday.

Unless there is an NFL rule change and teams become able to not line up a QB and instead run some extension cord out and use a ball machine to fire perfect passes around the field (which would be pretty cool because I would like to see Shawn the Terrorman Merriman sack a ball machine in to a milliion pieces) then I will take "None" for 200 Alex.

I'll take the WR who was able to have a 1200-1300 yard season with JP Freaking Losman
Losman wasn't very good, but through a nice deep ball that helped Evans' (one) big year.Had 83 catches that year, but has only exceeded 60 in one other season.

This is an example of where it helps to dig deeper. How many targets has Johnson received the past 3 weeks?

As far as talent not being there or not winning out in the end, Evans has proven with two 1000 plus seasons that he has more talent than Mark Clayton or Brandon lloyd, and we all see how a change of teams and situations has benefited them. His age is 29--it isn't like he is 34.
