Which founding father could be dropped in, let's say from 1795, and make the biggest impact in modern America.

Why? And what kind of impact do you think they'd make?

Ben Franklin had such creativity and imagination, was a big thinker in the best sense of the word.
This weirdo?

Ben Franklin's once had a plan to rearrange the English alphabet by eliminating the letters C, J, Q, W, X, and Y, declaring them redundant. It didn't katch on.
Or

Franklin's unique perspective extended to personal hygiene. He often opted for what he dubbed an "air bath" over a cold water bath, wandering around nude in his quarters for a half-hour each morning while reading or writing.
Or

Benjamin Franklin wrote a scientific essay about farts namely “Fart Proudly”.

Some will claim Lincoln, but let's be real...the current version of his party would have him strung up by his toes before a primary could even be created.

How about John Jay

Significant experience in foreign policy, which would be useful right now

An abolitionist, so he'd fit right in to the current climate on race relations

First Chief Justice, which brings that expertise to the table

Not founding father but I’m going Teddy Roosevelt. All around badass who would appeal to everyone. On the right side of issues. Gets #### done.

This was the first guy I thought of

i'd go right back to Washington/Adams at the top if i wanted to fix our nation now. Though its tough to excuse the contemporary concept of slavery as a necessity in becoming more than a colony, i still find moral courage & vision in the overriding focus upon America always being bigger than Americans and the support of Adams' furious eye for detail would be a damn good start

John Adams was probably the only founding father who didn't own slaves and who respected the opinions of women.

Of course, that doesn't mean that he'd make an impact in 2020.
