Which is the Best Site for Public Dynasty Leagues? (1 Viewer)

Long-time listener, first-time caller here for dynasty fantasy football. I've been playing in redraft for 20 years and am looking to try dynasty this year.

I don't have enough friends that I'd consider reliable enough to depend on a multi-year commitment to a dynasty team, so I need to look for a public league with other truly-committed die hards instead. A quick search just now for dynasty fantasy football leagues yielded a huge number of sites.

Hoping to garner some Sharkpool knowledge on this front, if you would, please...

  1. Which site has the best public leagues, in terms of generally committed user base over the long-term - i.e. less chance for a league falling apart due to orphans?

  2. Which site is the best in terms of UI, game format, site reliability, etc.?

  3. Which site has the best payout structure (both in terms of fees/vig withheld and general company reliability of future winner payouts)?

  4. Is there a site that is just best all around, considering the above factors?

  5. Should I be considering any other factors in selecting a site?

Thanks so much for your advice on this front, FBGs!

Myffpc is really well ran. Their leagues don't fold as they will sell teams at a discount to fill.  The bad thing is they take a decent chunk out of the pot. Depending on league size I think the payback is only 70-80%

You may find better $ deals (looking for leagues forum), but that can involve headaches dealing with bad owners/ commissioners.

Pm me if looking to join a longtime established dynasty league. Includes IDP though

I like Safe Leagues. Most are SF and TE Premium. They are commished by Scott Fish and Ryan McDowell, and haven't folded any leagues that started on safeleagues (several of the ones from sites they took over have folded).

I was in this spot just last year. I hoped to find a free league, though, so it was even more difficult. I found Zealots and have been happy thus far with the experience. Best of luck to you -- you're a good contributor to these boards and your knowledge will help the rest of us with our dynasty teams if you're engrossed with the same issues.

I can recommend RotoUnderworld's Dynasty Dominator as a beginning guide for a source of general guidelines on how to play dynasty. As for sites, I recommend Dynasty League Football for the paid subscription. There are others, just hit me up. I can't help you out with leagues so much, but a lot of people here play FFPC.
